Be thankfully resourceful

Being more resourceful is not a matter of having more resources. Being resourceful means that you're able to see, to appreciate and to make full use of whatever resources are available to you.

That's important to keep in mind when the troubles, frustrations and challenges leave you feeling overwhelmed. Instead of looking at those troubles with dismay, choose a perspective of real gratitude that will enable you to see the positive value in your situation.

Can you find a way to be thankful for your troubles? Yes, you can, and when you do you're in a powerful position to begin moving beyond them.

Sure, it may seem strange to be thankful for your difficulties. Yet it certainly beats the alternative, which is to let those difficulties get the best of you.

By challenging yourself to be thankful for whatever life has served up, you empower yourself. Your sincere appreciation opens your eyes to the most valuable possibilities.

To be resourceful, be appreciative. See the unique, accessible value of where you are, and position yourself to move positively forward toward wherever you wish to be.
