Faith in the future

It is not inherently difficult to be positive, though you can make it so difficult that it is impossible for you. It is entirely realistic to have faith in the future, though you can certainly convince yourself that such faith is completely misguided.

When you do choose to live with positive faith, you're able to journey through life in the light rather than in darkness. You give the forward-looking power of faith to your thoughts and actions.

Instead of being dismayed by the setbacks, you can be energized by them. Instead of having the desire to give up, you'll have the determination to give more.

Your faith in the future enables you to be your best in the present. It is by envisioning the positive possibilities that you begin to make them real.

Even when the whole world seems to be falling down around you, have faith. Hold steadfastly to what is good and right, and create your future with authentic goodness in your heart.

Live with faith, and engage the power of your own best possibilities. Live with faith, and keep yourself connected to the affirmative side of life.

No limitations

You are not limited by what you have been or what you have done. You are empowered by what you choose to do and who you choose to be.

You cannot be held back by what you know or don't know. You are propelled forward by what you decide to learn and by making meaningful use of your knowledge.

You never have to be stuck where you are. There is always a way to get yourself moving toward where you wish to be.

There is nothing to be gained by blaming your misfortune on anyone or anything. Instead, accept where you are and embrace it as an opportunity to move on ahead.

Whatever pushes against you, also gives you a steady platform upon which to build. Whatever seems to be a limitation, is a limitation only as long as it seems to be.

Choose your direction and go. Refuse to allow anything to stand between you and the authentic fulfillment you seek.

Bring the goodness to life

As the task grows more challenging, you can become more effective. As the situation gets more difficult, you can become more inspired.

Even if the outlook is negative, you can choose to realistically be more positive. Where there was once despair, you can bring new value.

From confusion and chaos, you can find and bring out order and meaning. When the situation is going downhill, you can elevate it to a new, more positive track.

Find inspiration in the challenges. Find positive possibilities in the difficulties.

Let go of the fantasy that life always has to be easy to be good. Embrace the reality that you can make a significant positive difference, and that you can find great fulfillment in doing so.

Resolve to bring the goodness to life. And every situation will give you the opportunity to do so.

Make yourself

Make yourself make your life better. You know what you must do, so go ahead and get yourself to do it.

You have power over your own thoughts and actions. Use that power to make a rich and fulfilling life for yourself.

Instead of making excuses, make yourself busy creating real value. You can choose to do it, and now is the time you have.

No matter what problems or distractions may come, you can make yourself move in whatever direction you choose. Choose to make yourself move steadily and persistently toward your highest goals, visions and dreams.

The quality of your life is determined by what you make yourself do. Now is when you can make the very most of that opportunity.

Make yourself into the person who is joyfully and successfully living your most treasured dreams. In every moment, choose to make yourself the best you can be.

Give peace

On this Christmas day of giving, give peace. Let yourself be filled with peace, and let that peace flow out from you to brighten your whole world.

There is no good reason for conflict, within you or outside of you. Replace thoughts of lack and limitation with thoughts of abundance and love, and the conflicts quickly dissolve.

Peace is yours to choose, and yours to share. Feel how truly fortunate you are to experience this life and this moment, and be fully at peace with it all.

Peace cannot be forced or compelled. And yet it can easily and powerfully be accepted and shared.

Today, and every day, live peace and give peace. Fulfillment comes not from taking and striving, but from loving and enriching.

Give peace, and give value that has no end. Live in peace, and live at your very best.

Enjoy this moment

Let yourself enjoy this beautiful moment. Let yourself enjoy this rich and abundant life.

Let go of any thoughts or feelings of worry, inadequacy, fear or anger. Let yourself be your own most compelling advocate for truly enjoying the place where you are.

Feel the depth of the miracle that is your existence. Experience the profound peace that lives at your center.

Give life more joy by allowing more joy to flow out from you. Choose to simply and powerfully enjoy.

Enjoy what is, as it comes. Then gently let it go and enjoy what comes next.

Enjoy this beautiful moment, and make it much more beautiful with your authentic joy. Enjoy, be at peace, and bring all of life more fully to life.

A generous heart

A sure way to be joyful is to be generous. Instead of worrying about what you can get, enjoy giving all you can give.

Living generously is living well and living richly. It makes you an active participant not only in your own good fortune, but also in the good fortune of others.

Life can be an incredibly beautiful and wonderful experience. Your generosity magnifies that beauty and wonder many times over.

Generosity is not merely a matter of material offerings. Real and meaningful generosity is giving of yourself.

Give your love, your attention, your compassion, your interest, curiosity and genuine caring. Give your time, your understanding, your peaceful, positive presence and your commitment.

Live each day with a generous heart. Make life's abundance even more abundant by giving the best that you have.

Use your power

If you think there's nothing you can do, you're mistaken. Just because you're burdened with challenges and limitations, doesn't mean you are powerless.

Stop telling yourself and others that you can't. Start telling yourself, and knowing, that you will.

Quit obsessing over what you need. Direct your focus and attention and energy toward what you can do.

It's easy to assume that you're constrained by limitations and challenges, and that you're powerless to make a difference. It's much better to do what you can, making use of what you have, right now.

The way to get beyond doubt is not by focusing on that doubt. The way to get beyond doubt is with action.

Use your power to choose, your power to act, and your power to make a difference. There is plenty you can do, right now, so fill your awareness with the best possibilities and steadily bring them to life.

Do some good

If you wish to feel good, do some good. Do some good, not for show, not for credit, not to get one up on anyone, but just because it is good and right.

Even if no one ever knows about it except you, that's enough. Do some good, just because you have the opportunity, just because you can.

Make the situation better, and it makes you better. Use your strength to create a positive difference, and you grow even stronger.

Real, lasting fulfillment comes not from what you get, but from what you contribute. Make a positive impact on life, and feel how great it feels.

If you spend your time obsessed with what's in it for you, there will end up being nothing in it for you. Do some good, and it will most certainly be good for you.

Whether life is going great for you or whether it is not so great at all, do some good. Do some good, and feel the priceless satisfaction of making life better for everyone.

Love your way forward

Hurting someone else will never ease your own pain. Feeling sorry for yourself and sabotaging your own life won't make anything better.

If you're disappointed in yourself, or frustrated with others, the answer is not to find someone to take it out on. Retribution, whether against yourself or others or both, brings nothing of value into your life.

The way beyond the pain is not with sarcasm, intimidation, revenge or violence. The only real way beyond the pain is with love.

Forgive others, forgive yourself, forgive the past, and love your way forward. Love is never easy, yet it is easily the most powerful and positively enduring choice.

If you're feeling pain, don't make the choices that will make even more pain. Make the choice that will enable you and your world to move forward toward a more fulfilling life.

There is always something good you can do. Fill your heart with genuine love, and act in everyone's best interest.

What you do today

What you do today, or fail to do today, you'll live with for the rest of your life. The way you live today can create new burdens, or it can create new treasures.

The future may seem like it's a long way off. Yet it is relentlessly heading your way, and what you do today will have an enormous impact on the quality of that future.

Today, right now, in this moment, in this place, you have an opportunity. It's an opportunity with great leverage over your entire life.

Today is your opportunity to choose how you will live. Today is your opportunity to give time, attention, effort and substance to those things you truly value.

If you merely wish to have a great life someday, your wishes alone simply won't be enough. Yet today you are able to act on those wishes, those goals, those desires, and to really, truly put yourself on the path to their fulfillment.

What you do today is absolutely crucial. What you can do today, right now, is get to work.

Great progress

The obstacle is not the problem. The problem is when you let it stop you.

When there is one path that is blocked, most likely there are dozens of other routes available. You can choose to make excuses, or you can choose to make use of your imagination and your ability to innovate.

Don't focus on what's stopping you. Put your focus on the eventual reward that's compelling you to move forward.

You've already come a very long way, and it certainly hasn't been in a challenge-free environment. Even though there are more challenges now, you are most certainly capable of continuing to make great progress.

Giving up might seem like the easiest thing to do right now. Yet if you give up, after this brief moment is over you'll continue paying the price with never-ending regret.

Choose instead to do what you do best. Commit to make great progress, no matter what, and in each moment you'll find a way.

Magnificent reality

It doesn't matter how impressive you appear to others, if you're not happy and genuinely fulfilled. It doesn't matter how much money you put into your bank account if you fail to put real, authentic living into your days.

Much of what you assume, in the urgency of the moment, to be important, is probably not so important. As the world's complexity swirls fiercely around you, remind yourself of what truly matters.

By all means, set ambitious goals, plan, work and achieve. Just be sure there's a good, solid, meaningful purpose behind it all.

Your life is yours to be lived with genuine richness. Use your time and your efforts to create valuable substance, not just to enhance your image.

You are so very much more than a mere status update. Open yourself to the full magnificent reality of your existence in each splendid moment.

Live wholly, feel deeply, and act boldly according to the truth of who you are. Commit yourself every day to the highest and best experience of your own miraculous life.

Being of service

Can you be of service? Of course you can.

Being of service is at the heart of what life is all about. Much of life's richest essence revolves around being of service to others, to yourself, and to the world around you.

The opportunity to be of service is an opportunity that brings out your most valuable and meaningful skills. It gives you the chance to get better and better at authentically being you.

Being of service feels profoundly right. That's because it is.

Your actions can make life more valuable, meaningful and joyful for everyone with whom you come in contact. And that most certainly includes you.

Use your moments, your resources, your skills and your passions to genuinely be of service. Be of service, and you'll be living life at its highest and most fulfilling level.

The courage to live

You have plenty of things to worry about. And yet, worrying won't accomplish anything positive.

Though life has many actual and potential difficulties, those difficulties are easily outnumbered by the positive possibilities. You have the courage to live, fully and from the heart, and to continue bringing those positive possibilities to life.

Every moment is precious, so give each moment the respect and attention it deserves. You certainly don't want to waste your time being resentful or fearful about other times.

You have so very much to give to life, so put your focus on being your most positive and most effective self. Use your energy to create maximum value and meaning out of every day.

Life has its daunting challenges, and you absolutely have the courage to face every one. The more you make use of that courage, the more invincible it becomes.

Your courage to live has brought you here. Use it now, and again and again, and bring more great value to life.

Always a way forward

When you have a difficult moment or a challenging day, remember this. The moment will pass and you will eventually work your way through the difficulty.

When trouble surrounds you, it can seem like there's nothing else. And yet, there is always a way forward.

The problems can seem overwhelming because they are so close. Remind yourself, though, that you are bigger than any of the problems you face.

Take a step away from the situation, take a deep breath, and feel your power to make a difference. Then make the commitment to act in a positive and persistent way.

Don't let trouble get the best of you. Let it make you stronger.

No difficulty can diminish the immense value of your life. Stay positive, because you have what it takes to make it through.

You can adapt

Life changes, sometimes very quickly and profoundly. Fortunately, you can adapt.

Instead of wishing in vain for a different reality, you can create a new and effective response. Instead of letting the changes bring you down, you can find many new ways to lift yourself even higher.

No matter what has happened in the past, that past is now over. You have the opportunity to create new value out of each new situation.

The more quickly and effectively you adapt, the more prosperous and fulfilling your life will be. When things change, look for the opportunities, for they are surely there.

Change is an essential part of life itself. And adapting to change is an essential part of living successfully.

For your entire life, you've been adapting to change. In each new change, find the opportunities, make the most of them, and move your life powerfully forward.

Profoundly successful

Don't let the world convince you that you're a failure just because you don't meet the world's definition of success. The most meaningful success is to live according to your highest values, and you can do that in every moment.

It can be good to have nice things and pleasurable experiences. Yet you can be highly successful and fulfilled without having a lot of material wealth or splendid adventures.

You have life, and the ability to choose your thoughts, your feelings, your actions and commitments. No matter what you do or do not own, you can find immense treasure in the beauty, wonder and abundance of the universe in which you're immersed.

If you live with integrity and authenticity, you are profoundly successful. When you can give love sincerely, and care deeply about life, then true success is most certainly yours.

Excitement, thrills and impressive exploits can be wonderful. Peace, quiet, and deep contemplation can be just as delightful and fulfilling.

Live a life that is profoundly successful in your very own unique way. In every moment, in every situation, you'll find the opportunity to do so.

Get up and get it done

It's great, and absolutely necessary, to relax on a regular basis. But being constantly lazy and indolent quickly ends up being no fun at all.

If you find yourself avoiding effort, ask yourself this. Are you really making the best choice for yourself?

Doing whatever you must do in a timely fashion is in your best interest. So remind yourself that you have an opportunity to act in your own best interest.

Yes, the effort may be complicated, difficult and tedious. Even so, you're much better off when you go ahead and get it done rather than having it continue to hang over your head.

Effort actually feels very good when you finally get around to it. So go ahead, make the effort, and before long you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner.

Get up now, get yourself in a pleasantly productive state, and get it done.

Live it today

You become what you most passionately and persistently do. The way to have the achievement is to live the achievement, day in and day out.

If you see your goals and dreams as distant, blurry objects, you prevent yourself from reaching them. Instead, integrate those goals and dreams into your life right now.

Whatever you wish to experience in your life, live it today. Bring your dreams to life by letting them constantly guide your thoughts, your actions and your attitude.

Don't just wish or hope or plan to someday be the joyous, fulfilled person you know you can be. Be that person now, with the way you think, the way you imagine, with the actions you take and the way you live your life.

Give each moment, each action, each thought and each choice a purpose that is consistent with the very best life you can imagine. Live the reality of your highest vision, right here and right now.

Live your highest vision, today, in all you do. And with every passing moment, that magnificent vision comes more fully and richly to life.

The effective you

Within you there is a highly successful and effective person. In all you think, say and do, let that person come out.

When making each choice, ask yourself a question. What would the successful, effective you do?

Every decision is an opportunity to make an impact on your life and your world. Every decision is your chance to make a positive, empowering, effective choice that will steadily move you forward.

Instead of compiling a list of regrets, you can be creating a treasure trove of achievements. And it all starts with reminding yourself, again and again, to follow the most effective and successful path.

At some level you absolutely know where you want to go and what you must do to get there. Get yourself connected with that purpose, and keep yourself positively motivated.

Think, in every moment and in every turn of events, what the successful, effective you would do. Then, simply make the choice to do it.

Enormous advantage

Your life is what you choose to make it. It cannot be any other way.

Other people may give you things, experiences, attention and knowledge. Yet it is up to you to make meaning out of it all.

What happens is significant because of what you do about it. The value of what you own is based on the value that you choose to give it.

Instead of seeking to gain an advantage, realize that you already have an enormous advantage. It is your unique life, coupled with your ability to make choices and to act on them.

There is no use in worrying about what has happened, or living in fear of what might yet happen. There is everything to be gained by choosing to live each moment with positive purpose.

You have the opportunity, and the responsibility, to choose how you envision and live your life. Take the opportunity, now and always, to make it a joyous and fruitful manifestation of the very best possibilities.

Delicious fulfillment

You can make something of this day, so do it now. You can transform challenge into achievement, so go ahead and make it happen.

Opportunity is not some free ride that is granted to just a lucky few. Opportunity is always there, available to anyone who is willing to work for it.

Transforming opportunity into achievement is not easy, and that is in fact the whole point. It is in the effort that the value of achievement is created.

You can make that effort, this hour, this day, this year, and for as long as you choose to make it. The more real, meaningful effort you're willing to give, the more your life and your world will be filled with achievement and value.

You can make something of this life, of this challenge, of this opportunity, so do. Be willing, get busy, stay on it, and get yourself an increasing dose of delicious fulfillment.

Give your very best, and get the very best of life in return. Make something of it all, and make it all into something truly meaningful and great.

At peace with right now

Choose to be in a beautiful place, right here, right now, just as you are. Make your experience beautiful simply by the way you choose to see life and to live it.

There is nothing you need before you can have joy. Be joyful just because you can, and because your true joy gives so much value to life.

Be at peace with right now. Embrace the beauty and magnificent possibility of what is.

Feel the massive strength that comes over you when you make the choice to no longer fight against life. Feel the joy of acting positively and purposefully to make your most treasured dreams real.

Cast out any remnants of worry, blame, envy, resentment or fear. You have much more positive, meaningful and beneficial things to focus upon.

More capable

You are capable of more than you think. However, to tap into that capability you must indeed think you can.

It's good to be realistic, yet you don't want to sell yourself short. Consider all the good things you've done, and know that you can do much, much more.

Yes, you will make mistakes, and yet they're a necessary part of making progress. You are here to learn and to grow more capable, so pay the price and do it.

Whatever progress you've made, you can go beyond it. No matter how much you've done, there is so much more for you to do.

At any age, in any condition, in any situation, you can get better. Life is constantly changing, and you can make those changes positive ones.

You've come a long way, so keep going strong. Have the courage to continue living your destiny, and achieve more and more with each passing day.

Beyond your needs

Don't let yourself be held back by what you think you need. Go ahead and do all you can with what you have.

Sure, it might be nice to be further along on the road. Yet you are where you are, so go ahead and start moving ahead.

What you see as a need is probably just an excuse. Instead of waiting for your needs to be met, go ahead and do all you can without them.

Don't let your focus on your needs blind you to your possibilities. Focus not on what you want to get away from, but on where you truly wish to go.

There's more than one way to get there. If one path is blocked, get creative.

Stop obsessing over the needs and excuses, and start taking effective action. Go beyond your needs, and create the real fulfillment of which you are most certainly capable.

Jump on it

When you have an idea, jump on it and make it happen. The reason you have the idea is because you're the person who can bring it to life.

When there's something that must be done, get busy and do it. Waiting until later will just make it more difficult, so be easy on yourself and get it over with.

When there's something you would really love to do, start working on making it happen. If you put it off until someday, that someday will never come.

Don't just know it or see it or feel it or plan it or wish for it. Act on it.

You can make things happen right here and now, so do. Every situation presents you with an opportunity to add to life's substance.

Best response

Don't resent the obstacle for being in your way. Figure out how to get over it, under it, around it or through it.

It's not the end of the world when things fail to go your way. It's the beginning of your quest to turn things around by making a positive difference.

If someone disagrees with you or criticizes you, there's no need to take offense. Instead, take the opportunity to learn something valuable about that person's perspective.

When you make an attempt and it doesn't work, that's no reason to quit. You've just gained priceless experience, so put it to good, effective use.

When life is negative, your best response is to be positive. In fact, you'll find the best opportunities in the worst situations, so choose to make the most of those opportunities.

A key ingredient of success is seeing that it can happen. And it can happen whenever you choose.

Being rich

Being rich is not about how much money you get. It's about how much meaning you give.

You don't need a lot of stuff to be rich. In fact, the less you need, the richer you are.

Be genuinely joyful, and you are as rich as anyone can ever be. See the real beauty in even the smallest things, and every day, every situation becomes an unending source of richness.

Being rich is being able to lovingly give of yourself. And that depends not on the size of your bank account, but on your simple choice to do so.

When it comes to being rich, what's on the inside is vastly more important than what's on the outside. Being rich is feeling rich, and you can do that in any circumstance.

Being rich is fully appreciating and expressing the immense value your life has in every moment. Being rich is how you can be right now, and always.

Today is different

If life has been good, today it can be good in a new and exciting way. If life has been difficult, today you can move beyond the difficulties into a more rewarding and fulfilling experience.

Whatever may have been before, today is different. And you can choose, right now, to make it different in a good way.

Your future is determined not by your past, but by your expectations. Today you can set those expectations at the highest level you can imagine.

If you expect to be a victim, that's what you'll end up being. Yet today is different, and today you can do much, much better.

Today is filled with great challenge, and with even greater promise. Make the decision to step up to the challenge, and to fulfill the highest promise of this day.

Today is different, and is yours to live with purpose, discipline, enthusiasm and joy. Today is different, and you can make it the best one yet.

Rich fulfillment

The best motivation comes from within, because it is the most sustainable and authentic. When you have a reason, you have a powerful, driving force.

And always, you do have a reason. The important thing is to connect what you must do with a purpose that is truly yours.

Inspiring words, stories and exhortations from others can remind you of that purpose. Your job is to remember why, at the deepest level, and to translate your purpose into action.

Your life is a continuing opportunity. Every day brings a new way to create meaningful value and fulfillment.

Many outside factors can serve to encourage or discourage you. Ultimately though, the choice to act comes from the inside.

Feel the reality of who you are, of why you are, and of the power you have. The rich fulfillment of your unique purpose is yours to create right now.

Not just the easiest

Taking the easy way out does not usually end up being very easy. Taking the easy way out in the short run will make things much more difficult in the long run.

You have the choice to completely deal with each problem when it arises. That's much better, and ultimately easier, than simply delaying the consequences until later.

You have the ability to speak the truth, and to take responsibility for your actions. In the end, that's easier than making increasingly difficult efforts to hide who you are and what you've done.

The life you experience in the future is determined by the way you act right now. Consider each of your choices in light of its overall impact on your life, not just based on what's easiest for the moment.

The quick and easy answers can often lead to lingering, difficult consequences. The way to live a life that's good is to honestly work through the difficulties rather than avoid them.

You deserve the best in life, and not just the easiest, least effective answers. You deserve the richness and fulfillment that a life of responsibility brings.

Highest potential

Imagine what you wish to live, and live what you imagine. Give life to your vision by giving your vision a prominent place in each moment you live.

You do not have to be pushed around by the random carelessness of events. Choose instead to be propelled forward by the pure, compelling beauty of your dreams.

Live by intention, not by reaction. Set your standards as high as you can envision, and live each day to surpass those standards.

Your life is not an excuse for compromise. It is an opportunity for excellence at the highest level.

The problems and challenges have no right to diminish the beauty and value of who you are. Choose to transform them into occasions for new and enduring greatness.

Open-ended miracle

You are alive, and that is amazing. You can make a difference, you can change things, right here and now, and that is a boundless opportunity.

There are challenges, and they are difficult, even painful. Yet they are nothing when compared to the possibilities.

What's happened in the past makes you wary about the future. Fortunately, you can act in the present to influence the future in a positive and meaningful way.

Life is an open-ended miracle and it is yours today. Get clear about what you would most like to do with it, and get busy working to make that happen.

You are immersed in a sea of energy and abundance. You have the outstandingly good fortune of being in a position to make something truly meaningful out of it all.

Make your beautiful, amazing presence known in a positive, creative and loving way. The miracle is yours to live right now.

Feel good at the core

Life is increasingly filled with distractions, and they can be very compelling. Yet the distractions are not what bring fulfillment.

Fulfillment, by its very definition, requires that you focus your energy and attention on what's truly important to you. In order to fulfill your purpose, you must live with that purpose at the center of your awareness.

Distractions can be exciting, fun, interesting, informative and enabling. However, there is more to life than just bouncing from one distraction to another.

The pleasures that only take a moment to achieve will be completely gone in the next moment. Yet the joys in which you invest great time, effort and substance will last a lifetime and beyond.

To truly enjoy life's many pleasures and diversions, you must have a solid perspective from which to experience them. That perspective, that foundation, is built with focus, discipline and authentic purpose.

The distractions can make you feel good, for a moment or two, on the outside. Choose also to continually build the substance of your life, and to feel good about yourself at the very core of your being.

When you care

The way to be strong is to care. The way to be informed is to care, and to do something about what you care about.

The way to be competent, effective, persuasive, inspiring and successful is to care about what you're doing. Life responds in a positive way when you take a real, authentic interest and invest yourself in it.

It isn't what you're doing that determines whether you're wasting your time. It's how much care you put into what you're doing that matters.

When you make the task meaningful, it will be meaningful. When you truly care, and act on what you care about, you're able to create value in any situation.

Do what you care about, and care about what you do. Be a real, live, genuine, original person, and not just an automaton.

Give care to each moment, each task, each person, and each experience. Life's best possibilities are fulfilled when you truly care.

Choose the positive

From the exact same situation, you can be frustrated or you can be inspired. Choose to be inspired.

Whatever the circumstance, you can be filled with fear or you can be filled with love. Choose the positive energy of love.

You can see the situation as a problem, or you can see it as an opportunity. Make the choice to look at it as an opportunity, and the opportunity will indeed be valuable.

Life is what it is. Yet the way you choose to see it makes all the difference in the way you are able to live it.

See the positive possibilities, choose the positive response, and you'll live a rich and fulfilling life. Go through each day with a positive perspective, and you'll encounter new treasures in every moment.

You always have a choice, and your choice always has its consequences. Choose positive, and choose the best of all possible worlds.

Could have

It doesn't really matter what you could have done, and what could have been. Focus instead on creating the best of what can be.

Your opportunities are in the present, not in the past. Learn from the mistakes, take inspiration from the disappointments and the successes, and move ahead.

Don't waste your time fighting battles that have already been decided. Put your effort into crafting a beautiful future from what you now have.

Though you've missed opportunities in the past, there are plenty of good opportunities that still remain. You cannot go back, and yet you can go positively forward.

Decide what you will have, what you will do, what you will experience. Decide on the ways you will make a difference, and put your energy into doing precisely that.

Leave behind the thoughts of what could have been. You have the grand opportunity to determine and create what now can be.

Live with honesty

Often, honesty is not easy. Yet ultimately, honesty is much easier than dishonesty.

Being dishonest is never worth the price you must pay. It is impossible to be truly at peace when you are living a lie.

With each bit of dishonesty, you narrow your options. Eventually, you squeeze yourself into a corner from which there is no escape.

A commitment to honesty puts the power of truth on your side. Honesty expands your options and gives durability to your relationships.

Being honest with others compels you to be honest with yourself. And it is only when you are honest with yourself that you can fulfill your awesome positive possibilities.

Deceit can often be tempting, yet honesty is always the best path. Live with truth and you truly live.

Your good life

Live the good life you have, as it comes. Don't be overly concerned about losing it, or obsessed with making it into something it's not.

Enjoy the goodness of your existence in a universe filled with abundance. Feel the sacred uniqueness of each moment and find joy in fulfilling the best possibilities.

It is good to plan and to remember. Yet you are alive in this moment to live the special beauty of this moment.

Your good life is not in some fondly remembered past or some hoped for future. It is here and now.

Appreciate the good life you now have. It is truly beautiful, and the miracle of you is that you can experience that beauty.

Your good life is here today, flowing gently through your experience. Now is your moment to live it all.

The choice to lead

True, effective leaders do not demand or proclaim or intimidate. They encourage, inspire and lead by example.

True leaders become leaders not because of their titles, but because of their work. Real leaders have no need to make promises, because it is already obvious to everyone that they get results.

The world can always benefit from more good, effective leaders. You can make the choice to be one.

Leadership is difficult and demanding, and often a thankless job. Yet without honest, authentic, effective leadership, the world would devolve into chaos.

The job of a real leader is not to tell people what to do. The job of a real leader is to enable each and every person to be his or her absolute best, and to point all those people in a positive direction.

You don't need anyone's permission to be a leader. All you have to do is to genuinely and respectfully make a positive difference in the lives of others.

Let the world be

Let the world be the way the world is being. And let yourself see the good in it.

Allow all that is to be the way it is in this moment. Accept and embrace the rich abundance of right now.

Any attempt to lash out and attack the world around you, ends up hurting you. Choose instead to offer your love and best intentions.

Move life forward, not by anger or resentment, but rather through love and understanding. Be a living example of life at its best.

Let the world be the way it is, and let yourself see the possibilities. Embrace the reality of what is, and make use of it to create positive value.

Choose to be fully at peace with the way things are. From that peaceful, powerful perspective, you can make things better and better.

Own your good fortune

Don't wish for a solution to your problems. Be the solution, with the way you live each moment.

If you hold out hope that something will come along to make it all better, you'll be disappointed. Life gets better when you choose to live it in a positive, intentional, responsible and fulfilling way.

Good fortune is not something that happens to you. Rather, it is the way you can choose to be, no matter what happens.

If your happiness is dependent on factors beyond your control, you'll never be secure enough in it to enjoy it. If you have to beg for favors, those favors will be of little use to you.

Good fortune is yours when you take full and complete ownership of it. Fulfillment is yours when you make the effort and commitment to live it each day.

Embrace total responsibility, and own your good fortune. All is well because you choose to make it so.

Let the past go

It's okay that you've wasted some time. It's not okay to continue doing so.

There's nothing wrong with the fact that you've made some mistakes. Now, take what you've learned from those mistakes and use it to make some progress.

Quickly and fully forgive yourself for any shortcomings in the past. Then diligently get to work creating a bright and valuable future, starting where you are right now.

Don't allow the past to imprison you or discourage you. Instead, let the opportunities of the present inspire you to take solid, effective action.

Life is now, so be here now and give your focus to what you can do with now. Life is now, so live it now without being weighed down by what has already come and gone.

Be truly thankful for what has brought you here, whatever it may have been. Then let the past go and let yourself soar into a magnificent, fulfilling future.

Stop stopping

Stop stopping yourself. Stop holding yourself back.

Stop giving power to your limitations. Instead, give commitment, action and persistence to your best possibilities.

Fear and anxiety are immensely compelling, yet you are even stronger. The inertia of complacency is powerful, and yet you can overcome it.

Whatever may have been holding you back has done so with your cooperation. Choose now to no longer cooperate.

You have made the excuses and rationalizations, and you can now let them go. You have focused on the fear, and you can now move beyond it.

The challenges facing you are very real, but that doesn't mean you must add to them. Instead, use the positive power of your life to move successfully through them.

Live like it matters

If you've done poorly, you can now do better. If you've done well, you can now do even better than that.

Every moment is an opportunity for improvement. Every day is your chance to make good and meaningful use of your wealth of experience.

There is a beauty within you that longs to be expressed more fully and more richly than ever before. No matter what has already happened, that beauty is more compelling than ever, and now is when you can bring it to life.

Look out at the ocean, look up at the night sky, or listen to the sounds of nature during a walk through the woods. Feel your very real connection with all that is, and feel the immense positive possibilities for true fulfillment.

This is not a time to get caught up in trivialities. This is your moment to experience the wonder of existence in a magnificent and abundant universe.

Live bigger

Most of the little things that annoy you are not worth the trouble you take to be annoyed. Choose to let them go, and live bigger.

You can replace the worry, frustration and drama in your life with peace, confidence and joy. Step back from the meaningless noise and chatter, and feel the magnificent depth of your purpose.

Real success is not a matter of mere popularity or possessions. Being truly rich comes from living with authentic purpose and meaning in every moment.

Don't waste your life struggling to do what everyone else seems to be doing. Live your life doing what matters most to you.

Live bigger than all the little trivial things that threaten to overwhelm you. Make a difference for yourself and others in ways that are uniquely yours.

Imagine and make it be

Imagine a life that is good, fruitful, joyous and fulfilling. Imagine your particular place in that life.

Imagine doing what you love to do, and making a real positive difference in many lives through your efforts. Imagine living precisely the way you choose to live, and in accordance with your most treasured values.

See yourself living without doubt or limitation. See a life in which fear is always overwhelmed by love.

Where you choose to go most often and most vividly in your imagination, is where you enable your real life to go. The person you most intensely and most passionately imagine yourself to be, is who you become.

You can imagine whatever you choose. And you can live the beautiful reality of whatever you imagine.

A magnificent life is already within you. Imagine it, truly see yourself living it, and make it be.

Thinking and knowing

Thinking is powerful. Knowing is even more so.

Thinking is a function of your mind. Knowing encompasses all you are.

What you think can change from moment to moment. What you know is always a part of you.

What you know goes beyond all doubt. What you know has the clear, powerful presence of truth.

Use your outstanding mind to think. Use your magnificent life to know.

Knowing comes from experience, guided by purpose, and from feeling the wonder of all existence. Know that you can do it, that you can be it, that you can experience it, and you will.

Plenty to celebrate

The way to make time your friend is to make it your workplace. The way to get time on your side is to wisely and diligently use every moment as it comes.

The hours, the days and the years will steadily pass, no matter what you do. Though you cannot do anything to stop time from passing, you can do everything to gain real value from every moment.

Make each day your day to make a difference. You are here, you are capable, you have the time that is right now, so use it for something good and meaningful.

The big opportunities come to those who take full advantage of the little opportunities. Every moment that comes is an opportunity to make a little bit of progress, and that progress quickly adds up.

Instead of wishing you had started sooner, start now. Instead of bemoaning the passage of time, make positive, fruitful use of the time you now have.

Celebrate the opportunity in each moment by giving your best effort to it. Celebrate every moment with positive, purposeful action, and you'll have plenty to celebrate.

Get on with living

Avoid trouble, but not so much that you avoid life. Anticipate possible problems, but don't obsess over them so much that you miss the opportunities.

When you set out on an ambitious path, there are plenty of things that might go wrong. Prepare yourself to deal with those possible pitfalls, but don't allow them to become excuses even before they become reality.

Don't let yourself be stopped by what might not even happen. Rather, let yourself be pushed forward by the positive value of what you intend to achieve, to experience, to create.

Put your time and effort into growing stronger, more capable, more experienced and effective. Focus your thoughts not on worrying about what might stand in your way, but on visualizing where you desire to go.

You've already made your way through every challenge to date. You have every reason to be confident that you can successfully deal with whatever life sends your way.

There are plenty of reasons and ways to be careful, yet there's no reason to constantly live in fear. Go ahead and get on with living a positive, meaningful life.

The best of now

Now is the time to make a difference. Now is the moment to do what you know you must do.

Now is when you can transform possibility into reality. Now is when you can bring your dreams to life.

Is there a problem that's been frustrating you? Now is when you can take real, focused action to work your way through it.

Sure, there are plenty of ways to waste this day. But you now have the chance to choose to make good and valuable use of it.

Now is an opportunity to create value. And that opportunity cannot be delayed until later.

Now is yours to use for whatever rich and fulfilling purpose you can imagine. Stand up, step forward, and get busy making the very best of now.

The blessings are many, and they give rise to many more. Life on this day is an open-ended opportunity for every kind of fulfillment imaginable.

Life on this day is here to be lived with joy, with immense gratitude, with confidence, and with love.

Live beyond it

Don't live with the disappointment. Live beyond it.

You cannot stop what has already happened. However, you can let it make you stronger and more determined.

Instead of dwelling on the pain or injustice of what has happened, imagine the best possible outcome. Then get busy moving yourself steadily and passionately toward that outcome.

Life has the power to disappoint. Yet you have the power of life, and the power to move on to bigger and better things.

When you have been disappointed, it means you truly care, and that's a very positive thing. Zero in on what you care about, and put your energy into advancing those things in your life.

Look ahead, and look at all the good and valuable things you can do. Look ahead, and step confidently forward with a renewed sense of purpose and determination.

What truly matters

If the distractions are too compelling, then your goal is too small. To strengthen your focus, raise your ambitions.

Make your purpose ten times more appealing than anything that could distract you. Make your goal so meaningful and compelling that nothing can compete with it for your time and attention.

You absolutely have the power to do great things. Yet in order for that power to be effective, it must be applied consistently and persistently.

Decide to make good and significant use of your great abilities. Focus yourself, in the biggest way you can imagine, on what is genuinely important.

Give yourself the joy of fulfillment by giving yourself a big, bold challenge that's worthy of your efforts. Set your sights high, and make your moments count for something truly outstanding.

The world is overflowing with meaningless distractions, and yet they do not have to steal your life away. You can choose to focus your life on a magnificent expression of what truly matters.

Do what you must do

Achievement is a matter of putting your mind to it and focusing your actions on it. Anything is possible when you set your intention on making it happen.

There are always plenty of reasons why you can't get it done. Yet you can choose to do it anyway.

You can find a way. If one approach doesn't work, another one will.

Decide what you will do, and then do what you decide. Life is too precious, and too filled with great possibilities, to settle for anything less.

Do what you must do until the goal is achieved. You're smart and motivated and capable, so make it count for something meaningful.

Achievement is yours to do. So choose today to get it done.

Exceed yourself

You've figured out how to get it done. Now figure out how to do it even better.

Expect the best of yourself. Then find a way to exceed those expectations.

Be pleased with what you've done, and satisfied with how far you've come. But don't let it make you complacent.

No matter what you've done before, today is your opportunity to exceed yourself. Where you are is not a place to rest indefinitely, but rather a place from which to move forward.

Each achievement sets the stage for even greater achievement. Every fulfilling experience opens the door to even greater fulfillment.

Challenge yourself to exceed yourself. You deserve the best, and you deserve to keep making the best even better and better.

Live from the heart

There is nothing you will gain by pretending to be someone you are not. Be who you are, and live from the heart.

There is great power in your own unique purpose. Dare to connect with that purpose, and let it energize your every action.

Your true dreams and desires are not there to frustrate you. They are there to inspire you and to point the way forward.

You are immersed in a sea of abundance and possibilities. Choose to passionately follow the possibilities that resonate with your heart.

Don't be overly concerned with what you must get through. Keep your focus solidly on what you have chosen to get to.

You are beautiful, so let that beauty give its power to everything you do. Live from the heart, and be your most magnificent best.

Think bigger

To get beyond the challenges, get your mind above those challenges. Focus on the bigger picture.

It's all too easy to become obsessed with the problems at hand. Yet by choosing to rise above those problems, you can transform them into powerful opportunities.

You are bigger and better than the difficult circumstances that surround you. Feel the immense power of your positive purpose, and make the commitment to make a real difference.

Don't be intimidated into dealing with life from a position of weakness. Choose to see the bigger, better possibilities, and passionately work to bring them to life.

Instead of getting mired in pettiness, get inspired by your own magnificent, positive vision of life at its highest level. Stop seeing your life as a struggle to escape the worst, and transform it into a quest to create and experience the best.

You are far more capable, creative, joyful and effective than you've ever allowed yourself to be. See the bigger, better picture, and let your life express it fully.

Choose to make it

Don't wait or wish for something to make it all better. Get busy improving and enhancing life in your own unique way.

Don't depend on someone else to tell you what to do or how to do it. Find real enjoyment and fulfillment by working your own way through life's possibilities.

This is your life and it is filled with great promise. Take responsibility for it, take the initiative and take it to the next level.

Don't pin your hopes on outside factors over which you have no control. Instead, make life great by working diligently and passionately with whatever you have.

Experience life at its fullest by living it on your own terms. Work to solve the problems, work to reach your goals, and work to bring your dreams to life.

Life is precisely what you choose to make it. Choose to make it extraordinary.

Keep building

Small efforts that are repeated are far more powerful than big efforts that are made just once and then abandoned. Instead of hoping for a chance to make a big impact, take advantage of each opportunity you have to make a small impact.

Time works in your favor when you work in your favor with every little bit of time you get. You can achieve great things with modest efforts by persistently repeating those efforts.

Every moment is an opportunity to add a little bit to life's richness. Those little bits add up.

Each revolution of your car's engine moves the vehicle forward only a short distance. Yet with enough successive turns of the engine and tires, you can traverse an entire continent.

Just because the effort is small, doesn't mean it is insignificant. Just because you can't do it all at once, doesn't mean it is out of your reach.

Success and fulfillment are built on a day-by-day basis. Keep going, keep building, and enjoy the ride.

Someday has never come

Planning to do something later is exactly the same as not doing it. Putting off joy and fulfillment until later is the same as abandoning that joy and fulfillment.

It's easier to say you'll do it later, but what that almost always means is that you'll never get it done. Choose to do it now, or not to do it now, but don't fool yourself by pretending you'll do it later.

Someday has never come, and never will. Always, the day you have, to act, to speak, to learn, to grow, to love, to experience, is the day you're in.

Start now, not tomorrow or someday or when you get the chance. Start now, and keep going now, and fill each moment with meaningful substance as it comes.

Right now is when you can live your life, and change your life, and enjoy the exquisite beauty of existence. This moment is when you can step forward and get good, useful, loving and significant things done.

It is truly a joy to be alive, so choose to be fully alive right here and now. Live and give and work and love and experience, not someday, but this very amazing day.

Work for it

The difference between what you want, and what you have, is what you do. The bridge that spans from desire to fulfillment is action.

Every moment is an opportunity to act. The more of those momentary opportunities you make use of, the more quickly and richly your dreams will become real.

It doesn't really matter what you say you want or what you wish for. What matters is what you choose to work for.

What matters is what you use your precious and irreplaceable time to accomplish. This day is filled with valuable time, so make purposeful use of it as it comes.

To have an exceptional, fulfilled life, work for it. Work for it now, today, from where you are, with what you have.

You deserve more than just empty wishes, so get busy and give yourself the best of what you deserve. Work for it, and delight in the outstanding experience of bringing your most treasured dreams to life.

Rich substance

Don't wish for things to be easy. Work to make things good and meaningful.

A life of nothing but ease and comfort is a life not fully lived. Sure, it's good to be comfortable, yet it is essential to also have real substance in your life.

If your goal is to reach the point where you have no responsibilities, you will find that place to be highly unsatisfying. Making a difference is what you do best, and making a difference makes life good.

A life with no challenge is a life with no fulfillment. Doing only what is easy can quickly rob you of your sense of purpose.

You cannot fully experience or appreciate life's sweetness if you completely avoid its sometimes-bitter realities. Some of the world's most beautiful places are also some of the most difficult places to reach.

Do what it takes to get yourself to those beautiful places. Be willing to embrace the difficult realities, and experience the rich substance of a life fully lived.

Focus on the destination

To get where you want to go, be flexible about how you get there. The path is never exactly the way you thought it would be.

Achievement demands persistence, and yet being persistent is not the same as being stubborn. Achievement comes from being persistent and also flexible.

It is impossible to foresee every twist and turn in the road. You must be willing to navigate each turn as you arrive at it.

Set your goal, make your plans and preparations, and be ready to adapt when circumstances demand it. Remember that the goal is to reach the destination you've chosen, not necessarily to follow the exact plan you've laid out.

By all means, pay attention to the particulars of your path. Yet don't get so attached to the plan that you compromise the goal.

Draw your strength and inspiration from the purpose you've chosen to follow and from the value you intend to create. Focus on the destination, and you'll work your way there no matter what.

Worthless excuses

If you feel the need to make an excuse, see it as a very clear indication that something is wrong. Instead of offering excuses, take the opportunity to make improvements.

Excuses don't solve problems, and excuses don't get the job done. Rather than working to craft a good excuse, your best option is to work on making things right.

Excuses are easy, and worth very little. Purposeful, focused, persistent effort is what will really make a difference.

Don't be concerned with merely saving face. Get to work on getting the job done.

Sure, the challenges you face are real and noteworthy. Yet the truly important thing is working through those challenges and creating the value you've committed yourself to create.

See the situation not as a reason to make an excuse, but as your chance to make a difference. Forget the excuses, and focus on living life's great opportunities.

Live positive

Holding a grudge can get heavy and tiresome. Lighten your load by letting it go.

Looking for someone to blame for what's wrong takes time and effort away from doing what's right. Do yourself and everyone else a favor, and put your energy into positive actions.

Being envious of those who have more, just locks you into a mindset of having less. Rejoice at the good fortune of others, and it becomes your good fortune too.

If you seek to bring someone else down, that brings you down as well. Seek instead to lift others up, and you cannot help but lift yourself with them.

If you live with a negative outlook, you'll find yourself always in a negative world. Choose instead to see the positive side, and align yourself with the most favorable possibilities.

Life can be outstandingly good if you'll see it and allow it. Live positive, moment by moment, and live very well.

Go ahead and be

When you fear failure you also fear success. To the degree that you fear, you do not function.

Go ahead, get beyond the fear, and be. It's not really that difficult.

Go ahead and be. It's natural and honest and true.

There is no pain in being. The pain comes from holding yourself back, and from fighting against what was or what might be.

Stop fighting, and live the beauty and possibility of what is. Be here, now, and live each experience as it comes.

Let go of the fear, let go of the doubt, and live the moment. Instead of striving to get it this way or that, allow yourself to sincerely be.

Rewarding action

When you don't feel like making the effort, that's when making the effort will make the biggest difference for you. Instead of giving in to negative momentum, interrupt it.

The best way to feel like doing it, is to do it. Step beyond your negative feelings and reward yourself with some positive action.

Feeling sorry for yourself will just give you more reasons to feel sorry for yourself. Ignore the temptation for self pity and embrace the opportunities for immediate self improvement.

Your attitude is not somebody else's fault. Your attitude is yours to choose, so choose an attitude that will empower and propel you.

The way to feel better is to do better. The way to do better is with positive, effective action.

Pay attention to your feelings, but don't use them as excuses. Be effective, get it done, and see how great you feel.

You are successful

You are successful at being you. Even if no one else acknowledges that success, it is real and it is yours.

You can expand upon your success. You can improve upon that success.

You have endured every challenge that has come your way. Now you are in a position to move forward in whatever direction you choose.

You are a survivor, and yet life is about so much more than mere survival. You are a dreamer, and now is the time to live your dreams.

Give yourself credit for the success you've already created and for the value you continue to create. Then give yourself a meaningful goal that is worthy of the successful person you are.

See your success, feel your success, and make the commitment to build on it right now. You are successful, and this is the moment to live and enrich your success.

Making your choice

You have the power to choose your attitude, your perspective, your direction, your responses, your expectations, your actions and so much more. Add it all together, and you have the power to choose your life.

It's a waste of your time and energy to blame and complain when you can be doing something much more positive and powerful. You can be choosing to make real headway.

You have the power to choose, so do it. Figure out what you really, truly want from this day, from this circumstance, from this life, and go for it.

Make your choice, and then make the commitment to make it happen. Make your choice, and then make all the other choices along the way that will bring it about.

Take a positive, active role in your life. Make peace with what is, with what you have, and then make your choice of what to do with it all.

Life is what you most consistently and passionately choose for it to be, and that most definitely includes the choices you make in this moment. Spend each moment making the best, most authentic choices, and you'll spend your days living a rich and fulfilling life.

Let each moment come

Allow time to pass and as it does, make good use of it. Allow life to unfold and as it does, treasure the richness of each moment.

Accept and be thankful for what has been, and for what is now. Fully and lovingly utilize the opportunity of this day you now have.

When the wind is at your back, use the occasion to make rapid progress. When the wind is in your face, take the opportunity to grow stronger.

Learn from those who share your opinions. And learn even more from those who disagree with you.

Embrace life as it comes to you. In the grand occasions and in the small moments, delight in the beauty and live the possibilities.

Let each moment come in a steady, empowering procession. And add your special joy to every one.

Go ahead and live as though all of life depends on you. Go ahead and give your best to this and every moment.

Let go of the doubts, step boldly beyond your fears, and do what you know is right. Instead of waiting for things to get better, move confidently ahead from where you are with what you have.

Work through the frustration

When you feel frustrated, what you're feeling is your intense desire to make things better. Instead of fighting against your frustration, channel it in a positive, productive direction.

Frustration happens when things are not the way you want them to be. And because of that, frustration is a powerful precursor to achievement.

When you're frustrated with the way things are, it can be tempting to give up. After all, it's often easier just to live with life's shortcomings than it is to make improvements.

But if you choose to give up, you're letting go of a powerful opportunity. In your frustration there is great energy, and that energy can be directed to truly make things better.

To tap into that energy, take focused, purposeful action with the highest of expectations. Work through the frustration, moment by moment, bit by bit, and get yourself to the achievement that's on the other side.

Frustration activates a powerful energy within you that you can use for positive purpose. Feel the frustration, harness the energy, and create the value that's there for you to bring to life.
