Rise above the troubles

Many of the things that trouble you are not nearly as troubling as you make them out to be. Much of what frustrates you is frustrating primarily because you have chosen to see it that way.

What if you decided to see things differently? What if, instead of being so desperately troubled by all the troubles, you could simply accept them, deal with them, and move forward in your own way?

Certainly there are very real and important challenges that you must give your time and serious attention to. Yet how many of the other, more trivial things, keep you feeling down simply because you've blown them out of perspective?

Every so often as you go through the day, take just a moment to remind yourself how truly blessed you are. When you catch yourself feeling sorry for yourself, choose to turn it around and feel sincerely thankful instead.

Even the difficulties remind you of how fully alive you are. And alive in this world of endless possibilities is a very good thing to be.

Rise above the troubles. From a perspective of gratitude, you'll see most of them are not nearly as troubling as you once thought.

Fill each moment with value

Don't settle for just staying busy or merely passing the time. Make use of your time and effort to create real value.

When the day is done, when the job is through, it won't really matter whether it was difficult or easy, frustrating or amusing. What will continue to make a difference is the value you create.

Today, and every day, you have the opportunity to make life more meaningful and valuable. There are countless options available to you for doing that.

You can build something new, or improve what already exists. You can create wonderful experiences, or share your insights with others.

The possibilities for creating value are limited only by your imagination. And now is the time when you can make that value come to life in your own unique way.

To fill your life with richness, fill each moment with new and meaningful value. There's always a way, and it always will pay.

Be well on your way

If you're uncertain, your action will make you much more certain. If you're not sure how, your action will enable you to quickly learn.

When you're feeling discouraged, action will focus your mind in a more positive, productive and creative direction. In circumstances that seem overwhelming, action gives you a welcome sense of control.

Take action, and you'll quickly go from where you are to a perspective that's highly positive and effective. Take action, and even the most intimidating challenges become more manageable.

It's good to think through what you will do, but don't overdo it. At some point all that thinking becomes counterproductive.

No, the circumstances are not perfect, but then they will never be. Go ahead and take action, from where you are, with what you have.

It is not the condition of the place you start, but rather the journey itself, that gets you where you want to be. Go ahead now, take action, and soon you'll be well on your way.

Energy of your passion

If you don't like the problems and shortcomings in your life and in your world, stop giving so much of your attention to them. Instead of being sick and tired and upset about the way things are, be positively passionate about the way you would like things to be.

You will naturally attract into your experience those things you focus on most passionately. The problem is, you move in the direction of what you passionately despise just as surely as you move toward what you passionately desire.

So make a conscious decision to let go of the focus on what you despise, and replace it with focus on what you truly desire. Get the power of your passion working full time in your favor.

Instead of obsessing about what's wrong, challenge yourself to visualize in great detail about what would make it right. Then make use of all those details to put your vision into action.

It's great to be passionate about something, because passion can bring an endless supply of energy to your life. And the power of your passion makes it important that you point it in a positive direction.

For every single thing that stirs up your passion, there is a positive way forward. Choose to find that way, to follow it, and to transform the energy of your passion into great and lasting value.

Better to do it right

It's tempting to compromise and take a shortcut. It's better to do it right.

What's the point of giving, when you give less than you're capable of giving? If you've decided something is worth doing, then it's worth doing in the best way you know how.

If you seek to cheat life, you end up cheating yourself. Choose instead to deliver more than you promise, and even if no one else notices, it is still worth all the effort.

Because one very important person will notice. That person is you.

Your own authentic perception of yourself is far more important to you than what anyone else thinks. Living with absolute integrity is what will raise that perception to its highest level.

Life is too precious and too full of positive possibilities to cheat yourself out of even a moment of it. You owe it to yourself to do it right.

The effort that matters

Are you spending this day chasing distractions or are you using its precious minutes and hours to create real value? Is there something you could be creating or improving or repairing or solving that would bring much more lasting value than what you're doing now?

It's easy to find things to keep you busy. It can be more difficult to engage yourself in work that truly makes a difference over the long run.

Yet once you start to do the work that really matters, once you build a little momentum, it becomes easier to rise above all those distractions. When you know you're doing what's truly meaningful and lasting, you develop a powerful, authentic desire to keep doing it.

Life is rich, and is rich also with opportunities for every kind of distraction. Though the distractions promise momentary enjoyment, real enjoyment comes not from being busy with meaningless efforts, but in making a meaningful difference.

Give yourself a break occasionally, and give in to the distractions for some momentary pleasure. Keep your priorities, though, on the efforts that bring not mere pleasure, but the kind of joy and fulfillment that last a lifetime.

Make the effort, and make the effort that really matters.

Go ahead and do it anyway

Somebody is going to criticize what you do. Do it anyway.

There will be problems and complications that come up, and you won't get it finished as quickly as you planned. Do it anyway.

Right now there's something you sincerely want to achieve, or experience, or become, or express. And though there are endless excuses for not moving forward on it, there's also one very compelling reason to go ahead and get it done.

If you truly desire it, and believe in it, and know it's worthwhile, then it's something you are meant to do. And it's something that somehow, in some way, can absolutely happen for you.

But it won't just happen because you want it to. It will happen when you focus the power of your spirit and awareness persistently in the direction that makes it happen.

Go ahead, and experience the priceless joy of living with meaningful purpose. Go ahead, and make it happen.

Coming to life

In this moment, a new world is being created. It may look similar to the world of a few hours ago, or even a few days ago, and yet in at least one important way it is different.

The new world that's coming to life right now is a world you can make into anything you choose. By the way you choose to think, to feel, to perceive and to act, you shape the world that is now arriving in your experience.

There is always hope, for there is always something positive you can do with the moment you're helping to bring to life. Nothing is a foregone conclusion because every assumption is based on a past that is quickly receding.

Breathe in the fresh, empowering air of opportunity. Know that wherever you may have come from, your direction right now is completely up to you.

There are beautiful dreams and heartfelt desires that have been living patiently and hopefully within you. This day is the best opportunity you've known so far, to bring them more fully to life.

Feel the possibilities in the new world that is being born in front of your eyes right now. And lovingly, carefully fill it with your own special goodness.

Seek responsibility

What are you willing to take responsibility for today? Where you're willing to take responsibility, you're able to make real progress.

Even if the problems are not your fault, if they affect you then your best strategy is to step up and take responsibility for them. Even if there's something you don't know how to do, if it's important to you then take responsibility for figuring out how to get it done.

Sure, your life is influenced by many things that are out of your control. Even so, your life is best lived when you take full responsibility for it.

Responsibility is a real and serious commitment that will often require great effort on your part. The payoff is with that responsibility comes a steadily increasing and positive influence over the way your life proceeds.

And even though it represents a serious commitment, responsibility also brings an unmatched sense of freedom. When you let go of the blaming and the begging, you are wonderfully free to live life on your own terms.

Look for ways to be more responsible and you'll find great opportunities for success. Seek always to live responsibly, no matter what, and bring real value to all you do.

Pointing the way

What seems to be standing in your way is not really standing in your way. It's pointing the way.

What looks like it's holding you back is not really holding you back. It's building your determination to move forward.

The mountain is steep and treacherous, yet it gives you a pathway to get to the top. The work is challenging and complicated, and yet it gives you a way to create achievement.

Don't you dare despair when things get tough. Rejoice in knowing that the reason you're encountering so much resistance is because you're moving so powerfully ahead.

Look in the direction from where the resistance is coming. That's where value lives.

Feel your determination as it grows stronger each time you push forward. Now you have what it takes to bring great things to life.

Making it count

Even if you think there's not enough time to finish, get started. Getting started is better than getting nothing.

The wasted and idle moments in your life add up. If you always have something ready to do with them, they can add up to great value in your life.

It would be nice to have all the time in the world to get the job done. But then, of course, you'd probably procrastinate, knowing how very much time you had.

In fact, the limits on your time are really a blessing in disguise. Those limits motivate you to use your time in the ways that are most meaningful and valuable.

Today is filled with time, but it's quickly being used up. There's nothing you can do to stop it, but there's a great deal you can do to make it count.

Precious time is coming to you right now. With your thoughts, actions, feelings and words, you can transform it all into lasting value.

Nothing to need

You cannot enjoy what you need while you still need it, so let go of the need and allow the enjoyment. Instead of putting limitations and conditions on your fulfillment, put more limitless possibilities into your awareness.

If there's something you need to do, let go of the needing and just allow the doing. If there's something you need to have, let go of the need and experience how that thing begins to be tangibly expressed through your thoughts, feelings and actions.

Life is overflowing with every flavor of abundance. Yet when you feel need, that very feeling is pushing the abundance away.

There is really nothing you could possibly need. In one way or another, all that exists is connected to you.

Inspired, fulfilled, joyful living is a matter of making the journey through those pathways that connect you with what you seek. When you are free from thoughts of need, the journey proceeds quickly and with minimal hindrance.

See need as a mistaken impression existing only in your mind. Gently let it go, and immerse yourself fully in the powerful, creative flow of life.

Get yourself to love it

If you want to get yourself to do it, get yourself to love doing it. Whatever you love to do, you're always eager to do.

But how do you find the way to love doing something that may not seem so lovely? Make yourself fully aware of the reasons why you do it.

Even with the most unpleasant job, there's a positive reason somewhere within you why you have chosen to do it. Understand and appreciate that reason, and you'll have something to genuinely love about the job.

In some way, everything you do is connected to what you greatly value. Otherwise, you simply would not do it.

Instead of resenting what you must do, rejoice about what you can do to make a meaningful difference. Instead of being ashamed of yourself for avoiding the task, be delighted with yourself for getting out in front of it and getting it done.

If you do what you love, you'll soon become successful. When you truly love what you do, success is already yours.

No longer impossible

The only way impossible can continue to be impossible is if nothing changes. And as is clearly obvious, life is always changing with every passing moment.

The concept of impossible is a static concept. Yet you are a dynamic force and as such, impossible does not really apply.

Yes, something may indeed be impossible at the moment. It won't stay impossible for long.

How many good and fulfilling things have you given up on because they once were impossible? Perhaps it's time to consider them again.

Whatever you're able to achieve, comes from the realm of what is possible. And then, every achievement makes even more things possible.

Clearly focus your thoughts on the most wonderful outcome you can envision, and get yourself moving to make it happen. If it's not possible now, it will be very soon.

Let the joy flow

You don't need to control others, because you can exercise full control over you. You don't have to gain advantage over others, because you have the unmatched advantage of being you.

You don't have to cajole others into agreeing with you. Because you can live and speak and act with integrity and congruence and in harmony with what you know to be true.

On this day you have the great opportunity of expressing the uniqueness of who you are while also playing your part in the wholeness of all that is. With all that going on, absolutely anything is possible.

Set yourself free from the negative judgments of others by letting go of the need to worry about what they think. Set yourself free from doubt, fear and anxiety by reminding yourself that every experience can add to the richness of who you are.

Stop waiting for the right moment and make this the right moment. Go ahead and live the best of your possibilities by standing up, stepping forward and taking decisive, positive action.

Feel fully the miracle of your unique and beautiful existence. And let the joy flow profusely from the center of your being.

It happens now

What is the most valuable, life-enriching thing you can do in this moment, in the place where you are, with what you have? All you must do, is do it.

You don't have to burden yourself with worrying about all the problems in the world, for worry will accomplish nothing. Your most loving, compassionate and fulfilling choice, is to be your best right now.

How can you possibly find the strength to take full and unequivocal responsibility for your whole world? It's easy when you realize that all you ever have to do is give your best to the moment you're in.

There is no limit to the good and valuable things you can accomplish to fulfill your own purpose and to lovingly serve the needs of others. Doing your authentic best, right now, in this moment, is more than enough to change the world for the better.

Let go of the chatter that runs through your thoughts. Focus instead on feeling the immensity of positive possibility in which you're immersed.

As you journey through this very moment, leave real, honest value where you go, in the best way you know how. A life well lived, and a world well served, happens now.

Bring your life to life

You don't need anyone's permission to live an outstanding life filled with exactly the kinds of experiences you want to have. You don't need to wish for, hope for, or beg and plead for a lucky break.

You just have to step forward and do it. Take your destiny in your own hands and make life happen the way you want it to happen.

You absolutely know, somewhere within, what you can do with this day to give and to express the unique greatness that is who you are. Be open and honest with yourself and dare to find that special something that makes you feel more alive than ever.

Whatever your age or occupation or financial situation or physical condition, this moment right now is your opportunity for true fulfillment. Feel how superb it feels to simply be you, and feel your special greatness rising to the surface.

You've put your whole life into getting where you are, so do something with this day that's worthy of all that work. Bring your life to life, and do what honestly feels right, right now.

Leave your fear behind, and let your positive passion push you forward. There is always so very much for you to live.

Great new treasures

Sincere, focused, purposeful effort is never wasted. Though it often does not bring the results you expected, it never fails to bring new value to your life.

Sometimes all you get is experience, greater strength, and the confidence of knowing that you can work with discipline and focus. Though those things may not seem like much at the moment, over time they will bring great treasure to your life.

Then there are the efforts that don't bring what you expected, but instead bring something even better than you could have imagined. When you're fully engaged in life, you tend to discover new paths to fulfillment that are far more amazing than anything you could have ever envisioned.

You cannot know for sure what the days and months and years ahead will bring. Yet you can be sure that the most fulfilling and enriching way to greet each new moment is in the active service of a meaningful purpose.

Sometimes your efforts can seem tiresome and downright exhausting. Consider, though, how truly fortunate you are to be in a position to make them, and even more so, to make them meaningful.

What great new treasures will your efforts bring you? Right now is when you have the opportunity to find out.

Out of the problem

Very often, the best solution to the problem has nothing to do with the problem itself. And if your thinking is trapped in the perspective of the problem, you won't be able to see the best way forward.

Maybe the best way to fix the problem is not to fix the problem. The best way forward could very well be to render the problem irrelevant.

Don't focus so intently on the problem at hand that you ignore the overall picture. Your life is filled with abundant resources, and you can utilize them in an endless number of creative ways.

Get out of the problem and into the realm of your most positive possibilities. Visualize yourself not as fixing what's wrong but as creating something new and valuable.

You always have the opportunity to move your life forward. Connect with your purpose, and remind yourself of what's most meaningful to you.

Instead of being a victim of this or that, instead of getting mired in the problem, get inspired by the possibilities. Take a healthy does of determination from the problem, then leave it far behind.

You control it

What troubles you is not reality itself. What troubles you is your interpretation of reality.

What frustrates you, motivates you, inspires you and disappoints you are not the facts of the situation but how you choose to view them. And in that fact is enormous power.

You are never at the mercy of random circumstance. On the contrary, you are in control of your whole world because you are in control of the way it all affects you.

Your choice in every moment, of how to see that moment, really matters. Your choice of how to respond to whatever comes your way, really matters.

You have great influence over all that matters to you. You can decide what it means to you, and you also control what you do about it.

You could choose to assume that you're powerless, and your very assumption will make itself true. Or, you can choose to see the real power of your perspective, and use it to create the life of your dreams.

Make a wish

Make a wish, and make it a really good one. Wish for something that can make a massive positive difference in your life right now.

Make a wish, and then see it in great and rich detail. In the deepest depths and highest highs of your imagination, imagine yourself living the fulfillment of that wish.

Then ask yourself this. What one step can you take right now that will transform your wish into a work in progress?

It feels nice to wish, and yet wishing itself won't bring results. You can, however build great value from that wish by fully engaging the power of your focus and commitment.

Let yourself wish, and imagine, and dream, but don't just leave it at that. Because you owe it to yourself, and to all of life, to make something real out of what you've imagined.

Make a wish, and then step quickly in the direction it begs you to go. Make a wish, and then make it real.

Easier said than done

Taking consistent, persistent, focused action is easier said than done. Disciplining yourself to rise above the distractions and put forth meaningful effort, is easier said than done.

In fact, nearly everything you can think of is easier said than done. But just because something is difficult doesn't mean it's impossible.

Just because something is easier said than done, is no reason to give up on it or avoid taking action. Because there's really no reason why you must make the easiest choice.

Much of the time, easy is overrated. Easy might appear nice from a distance, but when there's too much ease in your life, there aren't very many opportunities for fulfillment.

Many things in life are in fact extremely difficult to accomplish. Most of those things are very much worth the trouble.

Yes, it is indeed easier said than done. And that's an excellent reason to step forward and do it.

How you can respond

Focus not on making judgments about what has happened. Focus on how you can respond in a positive way that will create value from the situation.

Life is always changing, and with every change comes new opportunity. Instead of fearing or fighting the changes that are already going on, look for the opportunities in them.

Be clear about what you intend for your life and your world. When you look at what's going on around you through the filter of your intentions, you'll see plenty of great possibilities for fulfilling those intentions.

Don't get sidetracked worrying or arguing about who is at fault or what could have been done differently. Put your energy into making good and meaningful use of what is.

Find your comfort not in holding on to the past but in realizing that the future is yours to create as you wish. Know clearly and precisely what you want, and you'll see just how you can make use of what is, to bring about what you desire.

There is something changing right now, and in that change is valuable opportunity being born. Open your eyes, take a deep breath, put a smile on your face, and make that opportunity your own.

The best you've ever been

With all its imperfections and challenges, today is still the best day yet. Though you may have known much love and joy and fulfillment in the past, you can experience even more today.

For you can bring with you to this day the best of all you've ever known, and then you can add to its beauty. On top of that, you can leave behind the disappointments and limiting assumptions that have held you back, and free yourself to truly soar.

Sure, there are problems that you will face. Yet you can face them with a lifetime of wisdom and experience, more today than you've ever had before.

You're better prepared than ever to transform those problems into opportunities. And you're more determined than ever to transform the best of those opportunities into real, meaningful value.

All of what you've been through has made you stronger and more capable, in ways that you're not even fully aware of yet. Today you can choose to use that ever-growing strength and ability in the service of your most treasured visions.

Whatever else may be going on, in many important and powerful ways you're the best you've ever been. Grab the opportunity that is today, and make it into something great.

Live intentionally

If you want to live richly, live intentionally. Choose what you wish to create, and then experience the immense satisfaction of making it so.

Instead of being consumed with doubts and fears about what might happen, be focused on what you will cause to happen. Listen to your heart, and take the initiatives that most closely resonate with what you hear.

Absolutely accept and embrace whatever randomness life brings your way. Yet do it from a perspective of your own choosing.

Get the very most from each day by making the intentional choice of how to spend it. Instead of being pushed in a hundred different directions by the conflict and complexity that surrounds you, harness the energy of your passion and purpose.

Direct yourself, consistently and persistently, toward the places, situations, experiences, people and results that you wish to have in your life. You have more than enough energy, opportunities and ability, when focused in a specific direction, to achieve whatever you choose.

So choose to choose. Decide how your life will be, this hour, this day, this year, this century, and live the true richness of making it happen.

Make life happen

You don't have to wish or hope for things to happen. Because you can make things happen.

You don't have to wonder whether something will work or not. Because you can gather the resources, make the effort and find out for yourself.

There's no need to live in fear of what life might bring. You can make your life unfold in the way you'd like to see it unfold.

There's no reason to worry about lack or limitation. You can act to work your way through whatever obstacles and challenges are present.

Of all the abilities you have, the most powerful ability is the ability to utilize your abilities in a meaningful way. Not only can you make things happen, you can make things happen with purpose and intention and in the service of your highest values.

Don't worry or wonder or beg or steal or wish or regret or envy or wait. Use all that energy to make life happen, in the way you know is best, right now.
