Determined enough

You deserve the very best achievement of which you're capable. The challenges and setbacks and disappointments are there to make you determined enough to get it.

When it absolutely seems like there's no way forward, keep going. There's a way.

If you're not getting the results you expected, see it as an opportunity to experiment with other approaches. You'll likely find something that works even better than you could have imagined.

Eventually you'll look back on all the challenges and be thankful for them. You'll realize that the strength and effectiveness gained in working through those challenges added great value to the whole undertaking.

You won't avoid all the setbacks, but then you really wouldn't want to. For you can choose to take them all in stride and let them make you that much stronger, that much more determined, and that much more successful.

Instead of feeling sorry for yourself, feel inspired about yourself. After all, you had the courage to get started in the first place and you have the determination to keep going no matter what.

Effective action

Stop sitting around wondering if this will work out or if that won't work out. Get busy and find out for yourself.

Stop wishing that you had more to work with. You have more than enough to get started in this moment.

Once you start, once you make that first effort, you'll be able to tap into the power of momentum. The initial results you get will enable you to make the next effort.

Quit worrying about not having enough time, for that worrying itself just wastes your precious time. Simply and gratefully make use of the time you have, and you'll always be making progress.

Put thought into your efforts, but don't make your thoughts a substitute for your efforts. Get busy and put your best thoughts into effective action.

Give your best to this day, give your best to the effort, and good things will come from it. Though it won't always be the way you expect, you will always find ways to create real, unique value and richness in your life.

A good enough reason

Give yourself a good enough reason and you can get yourself to do whatever must be done. Give yourself a meaningful enough reason why, and it will happen.

Make yourself an offer that you can't refuse. Give yourself a reason that you cannot resist.

In an instant you can go from apathetic and unmotivated to enthusiastic and energetic. All you have to do is find that raw nerve of authentic desire, and touch it.

Allow yourself to want what you really want. Then allow yourself to be driven by that desire.

Every possibility is open to you. Latch on to one so positive and compelling that it won't leave you alone until you make it happen.

Give yourself a good enough reason and you'll give yourself plenty of motivation. Give yourself a good enough reason and you'll have no trouble moving quickly and decisively forward.

Real Accomplishment

You can envision and speculate, plan, theorize and guess about how things will turn out. The way to know for sure, though, is to step forward and make the effort.

There are plenty of things that could go wrong, and challenges you probably never thought about. But don't let the mere possibility of those problems prevent you from getting started.

When events fail to unfold as you anticipated, you can learn, evaluate, make adjustments and then keep on going. Keep in mind that each difficult challenge brings with it the opportunity to create even greater value by working through it.

All the things that are easy and without risk have already been done. If it is real accomplishment you seek, you must be willing to take on real challenge.

Look ahead to the goal at the end of the path, and see it clearly. Then step confidently forward, ready to do whatever you must to reach that goal.

Real accomplishment is well within your reach. With real effort, real commitment and real persistence you'll absolutely get yourself there.

Imagine intensely

Imagine yourself filled with energy and enthusiasm. The more vividly you imagine it, the more real that energy and enthusiasm become.

See yourself working with purpose, focus and discipline. Imagine yourself being positive, decisive, and eager to take whatever action is necessary.

Imagine yourself being the person you've always wanted to be. Imagine, in rich and glorious detail, living the life you've always dreamed of living.

Imagine a positive and fulfilling image of yourself, doing what you know is right for you, giving your very best to life. Imagine living each day with positive purpose, love, compassion and effectiveness.

Imagine yourself surrounded by beauty, experiencing true joy and fulfillment. Imagine yourself always finding a way to make a valuable contribution to each and every moment.

Imagine yourself at your absolute best, and hold that image firmly in your mind, day after day and moment by moment. Imagine intensely and persistently, and you will make it be.

Keep getting results

When you get the results you're after, that's great. When the results fall short of your expectations, that's great too because you gain valuable knowledge and experience.

If you're going through a difficult stretch, keep going and you'll get yourself beyond it. If you're getting unsatisfactory results, keep making the effort, keep getting results and as you grow more effective with each attempt, you'll eventually get it just right.

With each action you take, you make a difference. The more experience you have at making a difference, the more skillful you become at making that difference exactly what you want it to be.

Look back at how far you've come since you started. See and understand how even the disappointing results have helped you to find your way forward.

With every effort, regardless of the outcome, you've made a step in the direction of the results you seek. Always expect the best, no matter what has happened before, for your results will move steadily toward your expectations.

Keep going, keep making the effort, keep making a difference and keep getting results. Each day, each action brings you ever closer to the goal.

Just do

There is no need to try. Just do.

Feel what you feel without judgment or regret. Those feelings connect you with the power of your authentic purpose.

Use your head wisely to follow your heart faithfully. There's much that you can think, and yet even more that you can know.

Let the experience of each moment come, and then let it go. Rest assured that the goodness will stay with you always, because you love it so.

Be now in spirit where you would most like to be. Imagine waves of pure joy as they carry you along.

Somewhere within you, all is well, no matter when, no matter what. Feel the peace of knowing the beauty of who you truly are.

What you can and cannot change

There are many things you can change, and there are many things you simply cannot change. Both kinds of things can add value to your life.

With the things you can change, you have the opportunity to improve the circumstances in your own life and in the world around you. In dealing with the things you cannot change, you can grow stronger and develop real wisdom, patience, acceptance, and flexibility.

There is much you can learn from the things you cannot change. You can use that knowledge and experience to positively affect those things you can change.

The things you cannot change give you a base from which to work. The things you can change give you an ever-increasing world of possibilities.

By gently accepting what you cannot change and finding positive ways to deal with it, you lay the groundwork for success. By understanding what you can change and finding positive ways to put that change to work, success and achievement begin to happen.

What a blessing it is to live in a world where there are both things you can change and things you cannot. Each turn of events, in its own way, gives you the opportunity for adding richness to life.

Beauty in every moment

Life is beautiful. In every moment there is something beautiful to be found.

The beauty differs from one day to the next. Sometimes it is overpowering, and other times it is subtle and delicate.

Yet always, everywhere, life's precious and irrepressible beauty is there. Whatever else this moment may hold, it also holds its own unique beauty.

Find a little bit of beauty, and you open yourself to finding more. See that even from the troubles and disappointments, beauty will emerge.

Celebrate the beauty, just because it is. Remember, again and again, through all the ups and downs, how very good it is to experience the beauty that is born in every moment.

Celebrate the beauty, just because you can. For you are the miracle that can know the beautiful miracle of all that is.

Love what you see

Love what you see. It is not an object to be judged, but rather an aspect of your wholeness.

Imagine that you are whatever it is you see. Understand that it is not apart from you.

The beauty, the state of being, and the possibilities are all within you just as surely as they are in front of you. Love what you see, for what you see is what you are.

Be at peace with all that is, and feel the positive power of what can be. From the love you freely give will come authentic fulfillment.

Delight in the beauty of every little simple detail. Consider your immense good fortune at being within the richness of this moment.

There is great value here and now, and not only is it yours, it is you. Love what you see, and live the wonderful treasure of who you are.

How you spend your thoughts

How are you spending your precious, powerful thoughts? Are you spending them on the things you desire or on the things you detest?

Would you waste your money buying things you didn't even want? It makes no more sense to waste your thoughts on those things you don't want.

Your life unfolds in accordance with your most pervasive thoughts. Your actions, and the results they bring, flow directly from what you think from moment to moment.

Can you create and nourish a rich and detailed vision of yourself living the life you wish to live? Yes, of course you can.

Allow yourself to fashion that vision, to nourish it, to expand upon it with your thoughts, and by so doing, to truly live it. The more you focus your thoughts on what you do desire, the more surely you bring those desires to life.

Make positive and meaningful use of the awesome power of your thoughts. Where your thoughts most frequently go, your life will surely and quickly follow.

Feel the truth

In every moment, in every circumstance there is a new truth to be discovered. Life is rich with possibilities for deeper, more profound understanding.

You are, at the same time, all-encompassing essence and also a particular momentary expression of that essence. You live in this moment and you live beyond it.

Discovering truth is a matter of confirming in experience what you already know in your essence. The way you know it is truth is because it resonates so perfectly within the depth of who you are.

Truth is not something you must be told. Truth is truth because you recognize it so completely.

Living successfully in this moment and in this world is a matter of connecting your outer life to your inner truth. The most effective, fulfilling choice in any situation is to live the truth of who you are.

In pure truth there is no fear, no worry, no anxiety or anger. Feel the truth that is within you, and let it guide your every choice.

Anything you wish

Life is all in how you look at it. Through the way you choose to look at it, you can make your life into anything you wish.

What if you could transform your resentment for having to do something into enthusiasm for getting it done? The powerful and amazing thing is, you can.

Instead of being angry about something that's happened, you can be determined to make it right. Instead of being disappointed by the setbacks, you can be motivated by the new possibilities they've created.

What are you looking at, that looks difficult or painful or annoying or just plain impossible? What if you looked at it differently?

You can choose your perspective, you can choose your feelings, you can choose your thoughts, your words and your actions. No matter what life sends your way, you can choose how to look at it and what to do with it.

Get in the habit of looking at life with love and gratitude, and with enthusiasm for the positive possibilities. When you look, see the life you wish to live, for you have what it takes to make it be.

Let life inspire you

Let life inspire you. No matter what happens, you can choose to be inspired by it.

If you make a mistake, let it inspire you to be more careful and diligent next time. When you're having a great time, let it inspire you to create even more positive experiences.

Each time you see kindness, be inspired to pass it forward. If you encounter deception or injustice, feel inspired to raise your world above it.

Anything can inspire you when you choose to let it. You can even be inspired for no reason at all.

Be inspired by the big accomplishments and by the small, simple moments as well. An inspired life is a life that's rich, and it's a life you can choose no matter what.

If there's a reason to be inspired or if there is not, be inspired. Bring your spirit fully to life, and raise your life to a higher, more enriching level.

Good fortune

What a joy and a privilege it is to be alive on this beautiful, one-of-a-kind day. Life is increasingly abundant and the possibilities have no end.

Just to experience it all is amazing. To be able to make a difference is truly a blessing with no equal.

Though it can be easy to feel sorry for yourself, doesn't that option seem rather silly? After all, just consider the incredibly good things you have going for you on this day, in this life.

Sure, there are some pains and problems. Yet they are easily overwhelmed by the countless opportunities for joy and fulfillment.

Life's goodness is so common and pervasive that you often don't even notice it's there. Choose today to notice it, choose to be thankful for it, and choose to make even more of it.

Celebrate your incredibly good fortune to be here on this day. Joyfully make it the best one yet.

Your time to do

Go ahead, jump in, make the effort and make it happen. Now is your chance to get it done.

If you're worried that there will be too many problems, quit worrying. There will be plenty of problems and you'll work your way through every one of them.

If you're wondering whether it will be worth the effort, stop wondering and start doing. You're much better off doing something than doing nothing.

Are you waiting until you're sure you can get it perfect. Stop waiting, start doing, and though it may not be perfect, it will be done, and you can then improve on it all you wish.

Do you seem to be encountering too many distractions? Remind yourself why you have chosen to move forward, and re-focus your efforts.

You will achieve when you choose to do. This is your time to do.

No matter what your job or circumstances may be, there is always plenty of valuable work to be done. You can find great joy and fulfillment by doing what you can with what you have to make the world a better place.

Take a small step forward right now, and see how good it feels. Take another step, and another, and be delighted at how much you accomplish.

More determined than ever

Let your high expectations push you forward. But don't let them create disappointments that hold you back.

It's great when you expect the best. But it's important to keep in mind that you won't get all the way there immediately, on the first attempt.

When you're disappointed by the results, that's no reason to give up your high expectations. On the contrary, it's a good time to recommit yourself to those high expectations and perhaps to even raise them a bit.

Instead of being discouraged by less than spectacular results, be encouraged by the fact that you're aiming so high. Double down on your expectations by becoming more determined than ever.

You won't instantly achieve what you set out to achieve. The fact that it will take a while to reach makes your goal all the more valuable.

Expect the best and if you fail to get it, continue to expect the best. Eventually you'll reach the goal, and it will be well worth all your positive persistence.

Filled with opportunities

What if the things you thought would hold you back actually were to provide you with new ways to move forward? What if within your greatest annoyances you could find your greatest effectiveness?

Instead of fighting against the perceived obstacles, take a closer look at them. Somewhere within each obstacle is a pathway for moving forward.

Consider that it's not the obstacle itself that's stopping you. What's stopping you is your assumption that you can be stopped.

Yet you can change that assumption. You can choose to find a successful way through the situation, whatever it may be.

The various challenges that come your way can be quite intimidating. Yet when you let go of the intimidation, you'll see that those very same challenges are filled with opportunities.

Embrace those obstacles, embrace those challenges. For they are essential components of your eventual achievement.

Total acceptance

It is through total acceptance of what is, that you gain total control of what can be. By allowing life to come to you, you empower your purpose to radiate out from you.

You cannot successfully fight against what is. For the moment you choose to fight, you're fighting against a past that cannot be changed.

Accept the energy that comes to you in this now moment, whatever flavor that energy may be. Apply that energy to create a beautiful future filled with joy and positive purpose.

Embrace each circumstance as it comes into your awareness. By doing so you will gain access to its positive possibilities.

Live from a place of deep-seated peace. Instead of jumping into a reaction at every turn of events, exude a consistent, confident purpose.

Lovingly accept every bit of life as it comes your way. And you will always find much to truly love.

Choose to focus

Is there something that frustrates you? Don't focus on the frustration, but rather on the opportunity for improvement.

Is there something that makes you angry? Instead of being consumed with anger, consider the opportunities for understanding.

Is there something that frightens you? Don't focus on the fear, but rather on the opportunity to better prepare yourself.

Is there something that makes you sad? Rather than focusing on the sadness, be thankful for the fact that you care so much.

Is there something that makes you anxious? Don't focus on the anxiety, but rather on the positive purpose you wish to achieve.

No matter what happens, you are always free to choose where to focus. Choose to focus on the positive, and you'll be choosing to bring great value to life.

Exercising control

Discipline is easier than it sounds. Discipline is nothing more than choosing, with intention and positive purpose, while considering all the consequences of making that choice.

Discipline is a matter of controlling the person over whom you already have the most control. That person is you.

When you focus on the consequences of each action you take, on the short term and long term consequences, discipline comes easily and naturally. Discipline is the recognition and celebration of the fact that your actions have influence.

By choosing your actions you can choose your results. By choosing your actions you can choose the life you create for yourself.

Discipline is not a punishment or a burden when you choose it for yourself. Discipline is one of life's greatest opportunities.

Choose in each moment to exercise the control that you already have. Live and act with discipline, and create a life of true fulfillment.

Calmly determined

You can be determined without being frantic. You can be powerfully purposeful without thrashing around and bouncing off the walls.

Let your sense of determination come not from fear, but from love. Focus your energy not on what you wish to avoid, but on what you intend to create.

In a calm and peaceful spirit there is great power. When driven by a positive purpose, you'll always have the energy to move forward.

There may certainly be situations you detest, that you wish to move quickly away from. Yet when that is your only focus, when you're constantly looking backwards, you're more likely to stumble.

Choose where you do want to be, what you do want to experience and the life you do want to lead. Make your goals positive, and your actions will be immensely more effective.

Be calmly and persistently determined to achieve what you have chosen to achieve. And you'll find ways to put every day, and every circumstance, to work in your favor.

Objective advice

If you were someone else, what advice would you give yourself? If you could step back from being you, and look objectively at what you're doing and how you're living, what changes would you recommend?

It's easy to imagine the straightforward advice you'd give to someone else, because you don't have to follow that advice. Now imagine applying that same level of honesty and objectivity to your own situation.

Remember that you are not your problems, as intimate as those difficulties may feel. You do indeed have the ability to step back and to see clearly what you must do.

You have it within you to rise above every difficulty. You are absolutely capable of knowing and doing what will bring true fulfillment.

Take an honest, loving look at where you are. See the very real and positive possibilities available to you.

Rise above the limitations you've been imposing on yourself. Live your true values and fulfill the best that you know is within you.

Give a little more

In every situation there is the opportunity to give a little bit more. By doing so, you can vastly improve the value created in that situation.

If you've already invested time and effort in something, consider giving just a little bit more. Add to the momentum that's already there.

If you're already making the effort, giving a little bit more gives even more value to the effort you've already made. It creates greater value from the combined effort.

There are plenty of opportunities to give a little bit more. By doing so, you can easily distinguish yourself and set yourself apart from the crowd.

Make the most of the momentum you've already established by extending the momentum as long as you can. Once you're on a roll, give a little more, and keep your efforts rolling strong.

Spread the joy

There's no reason to feel the least bit guilty about enjoying life. If life were not to be enjoyed, then how would it be possible to enjoy anything?

You are here to see the beauty, and to enjoy it. You are here to feel the love, and to delight in it all.

You are here to be aware of how magnificent it is to be aware. You are here to experience what it means to exist.

There is great enjoyment to be found it life's pleasures. There is also unique enjoyment to be found in the challenges and the difficulties, and in working your way through them.

Fully experience and enjoy the ups and downs that come from passionately following your purpose. Find real joy in an endless variety of situations, and truly know what it means to live.

The more you enjoy your own life, the more joy you have to give to all of life. Live, enjoy, and spread your magnificent joy far and wide.
