Positive outlook

If a negative thought should happen to arise, you can let it get you down or you can let it go. Yes, you can simply choose to let it go.

Although negative thinking may indeed feel comfortable and familiar, eventually it leads to great pain. Let it go.

Perhaps you assume you have to be negative in order to be realistic. That's not the case.

By all means, acknowledge and accept the reality of your situation. Then choose to deal with it in a positive, purposeful manner.

Your future is determined by the way you choose to approach it. Approach it with the best of expectations, and you'll make your future the very best it can be.

Give yourself a positive outlook, moment after moment, day after day. And you'll be giving yourself a positive, fulfilling life.

Get good from it

Instead of worrying about how difficult it is, focus on how good it can be. Instead of being intimidated by the challenges, choose to be energized and inspired by them.

Whatever the situation may be, you can get good from it. Keep that potential goodness at the center of your awareness, and advance confidently in the direction of the best possibilities.

People will doubt you, laugh at you, complain and oppose you. Yet none of that really matters so much, because even when they do, you can get good from it.

There's no need to fret about what might or might not be. Simply make the commitment that whatever may come, you will do whatever is necessary to get good from it.

Always, there is much goodness in life. Better yet, there is the possibility for much, much more.

You are wonderfully able to bring that new goodness into being, no matter what. Take this day, this life, this moment, this situation, and get good from it.

Magnificent, meaningful results

The answer to conflict is not more conflict. The answer to indifference is not more indifference.

The best answers are made up of effort, genuine caring, commitment, integrity, and an unassailable respect for what is good and true. You are fully capable of all that and more.

Winning an argument doesn't necessarily produce any real value. What creates value is going beyond the argument, beyond the superficial need to prove you're right.

Even though you may not fully agree with someone, you can both still cooperate to great mutual and universal benefit. It is always very much in your interest, and in the interest of the whole world, for you to do so.

Ultimately, it's not the posturing that matters. The actual results are what truly matter, and continue long after the arguing and posturing have ceased.

You, and everyone else, can create magnificent, meaningful results. Right now is an excellent time to do so.

The substance of success

Yes, it's possible that you could fail, but that's not a reason to avoid the effort. In fact, it's a solid reason to go ahead and make the effort.

The only time there's a possibility of real, meaningful success is when there's also the possibility of failure. If it's a foregone conclusion that something will happen, it's not really an accomplishment when it does.

The substance of success is in getting through the challenges to make the difficult achievements happen. The bigger the challenges you face, the more valuable your success will be.

Instead of wishing for an easier task, see the immense value in the challenge that's in front of you. You can figure out how to do it, and you can get it done, so get busy and do just that.

Every challenge, every difficult situation, is an opportunity to make a pivotal positive difference. Grab that opportunity every time it comes along, and you'll create a great profusion of value in your world.

Relish the challenges, and find delight in your ability to navigate your way through them. With every twist and turn, you're creating more substance of success.

A more beautiful world

You're connected to other people, places and things in ways you don't even realize. Everything you do has influence that goes far beyond you, and that eventually comes back to you.

You cannot successfully cheat others, because eventually with such attempts you end up cheating yourself. What you can do, though, is continually inject your own unique value and goodness into life.

When you do, it grows in ways you cannot possibly imagine. It grows, and spreads, and lifts your whole world.

With every little positive action, you can make a difference. Because whatever you do is multiplied throughout the whole of life.

You don't need to undertake some grand and glorious project to make the world a better place. The very best way to make the world a better place is to make yourself a more joyful, purposeful, loving, creative and effective you.

The way you live, in each and every moment, matters very much. Live well, with goodness, integrity and love, and you'll find yourself living in a more beautiful world.

Satisfied with life

Allow yourself to be satisfied with life, just as it is. From your sincere satisfaction, you can move forward.

Being satisfied doesn't mean being complacent or lacking in ambition. Rather, it means being free of the burdens of regret and resentment.

Be satisfied with where you are, and you can generate the positive energy to get where you want to be. Be satisfied with where you are, and you won't waste your energy fighting against what already is.

Embrace your situation, whatever it may be. It is the place from which you can move positively forward.

Be truly thankful for the way things are. Your gratitude gives you increased access to the abundance that surrounds you and the possibilities that live within you.

Put yourself in a powerful, effective state. Be truly satisfied, and make use of that satisfaction to create much, much more.

The good side of life

The most effective way to prevent what's bad is to promote what's good. The best way to influence behavior is not to control and regulate, but to inspire and motivate.

You get more for your efforts when they're applied in a positive direction. Instead of fighting against what you dislike, work to build and support what you value and desire.

The answer to despair is not to despise it, for that only adds to it. The answer is to overwhelm it with goodness and love.

Focus your attention and energy on what works, and make more of it. Celebrate what is good and right, useful and valuable, and allow it to grow.

Nurture, promote and support what you love about life. Delight in the good things, and give the power of your joy to them.

Be a positive force by acting with positive purpose. Give your awareness and energy to the good side of life, and make it stronger than ever.

Opportunity for goodness

When good and positive things come into your life, use the opportunity to make something good out of them. And when negative, disappointing things happen in your world, use that also as an opportunity to make something good from them.

Every moment is an opportunity for new goodness. Every situation gives you a chance to be of real value to life.

Instead of getting frustrated, get creative. Instead of getting bored or complacent, get inspired.

Life is what it is, and whatever it may be, you can make it better. The sun shines for a while, and then the storms crash onto the shore, and through it all you can continue to create new, living value.

There's no need to worry about what might come, or what might be gained or lost. Choose instead to put your energy into making the very best of whatever may be.

Whatever is, is also an opportunity for new goodness. Grab each day's opportunity with enthusiasm and love, and feel the fulfillment that follows you everywhere you go.

Give the best

When you value what you have, you make what you have more valuable. When you care about what you're doing, you make what you're doing much more effective.

Give the best of yourself to the moment, and the moment becomes filled with great treasure. Be generous to others with your time and attention, and you'll find yourself among delightful companions.

Life is largely what you give it. Offer yourself sincerely and abundantly, and that true abundance will be reflected in the world you experience.

If you proffer complaints, you'll receive much to complain about. When you give love, there will be much to love.

Improve yourself, your actions, your outlook, and your world improves. Be genuinely useful, and you'll have much more with which to work.

What flows out from you surely, eventually and in greater measure flows back to you. Give your very best, and it comes back even better.

Raising expectations

You've done great. Now is your opportunity to do greater.

What you sincerely expect of yourself is what you end up doing. So raise the expectations that live at the center of your awareness.

You are capable of much, much more. So go ahead and expect much, much more.

Show yourself how much you believe in yourself and in what you can do. Expect great things, and your sincere expectations will surely and steadily pull you toward those great things.

Within you, there is enormous untapped value. Raise your expectations, and allow more of that value to be shared with all of life.

Raise your expectations. And raise your whole world to a higher, more beautiful and fulfilled level.

It's important to develop and improve on powerful, practical skills. What's even more important is to put those skills to use in meaningful ways.

Yes, by all means, dream big dreams and make big plans. Then get quickly to work carrying out those plans and achieving your dreams.

Don't just talk about what you're going to do. Stand up, step forward and do what you're going to do.

The effort of the journey

The life you desire to live is precisely one step away. Once you take that step, with your initial action you are beginning to live that life.

The essence of fulfillment is in the direction and in the process, not just in the ultimate reward. The substance of life is in the living, from moment to moment, toward the goals you have chosen.

Think of how terribly empty it would be to always get what you want without the opportunity to look forward to it. Without the time and effort of the journey, you cannot fully enjoy the destination.

If you were to have it all now, you would be cheated out of the rich joy of anticipation. Fortunately, you cannot have it all now so you can indeed anticipate to your heart's delight.

Step forward toward whatever you treasure, and you'll begin to live the reality of what you treasure. Keep going, and enjoy every bit of value as you work to build it day by day.

You can't get all the way there all at once, and that is truly a blessing. Because it is in the effort of the journey that you can truly appreciate and enjoy the reward of the destination.

The time you have

Life's abundance comes to you continuously in great big, rich gobs of now. To experience the abundance, make full use of now.

The value of this moment is in the possibilities. To connect with the most value, work to fulfill the best possibilities.

Life is good to the degree that you give your attention and effort to it. This day is meaningful to the degree that you give your unique, creative and loving essence to living it fully.

It can be nice to remember the past and to dream about the future. Yet the time in which you actually live, in which you can make a real, positive difference, is now.

If you intend to make something happen, you must make the effort now. This, right now, is the time you have, so make full and effective use of it while it's here.

Feel the goodness, love the beauty, fulfill the possibilities, now. The most powerful time in your life is now here, so make it count for something truly great.

Let yourself be yourself

Achievement is not particularly difficult, if you'll simply let yourself do it. A life of rich fulfillment is within your reach, when you let yourself reach for it.

You could worry about what might or might not happen. Or, you can allow what happens to happen, and let yourself make the very best of it.

Let yourself live fully and without limitation. Let yourself truly be yourself, with no regret, no apologies, and no holding back.

The obstacles are there, but they are not there to stop you. They are there so you can let yourself become stronger, more capable, more confident and more experienced.

Let yourself do what must be done to create the life of your dreams. It's really not that far away when you let go, and let yourself live it.

Let yourself be the living expression of what you value most. Let yourself live at the highest level you can imagine, in new and beautiful ways with each dawning day.

Limitless value

Your life has limitless value. You are a bundle of the best possibilities you can ever imagine, and you are fully capable of bringing those possibilities into reality.

Think for a moment about what that means. Then go beyond thinking, and feel all of what it means to be you.

Realize that you are life itself, experiencing itself, and improving on itself. You are able to not merely think about love and joy, but to actually be love and joy.

Your life has limitless value, and with your actions you can translate that value into any good thing you imagine. Your life has limitless value, and you have the opportunity to share that value far and wide, with countless other people.

Visualize a life that's full of joy and love, meaningful achievement and real, honest satisfaction. That life is yours to live the moment you choose to embrace its value.

Connect with what means the most to you, and go for it with everything you have. Your life has limitless value, so focus that value in ways that will lift your whole world.

True achievements

If you tell a big enough lie, people will listen. If you keep telling lies, again and again, no one will ever listen, even when you tell the truth.

It's fairly easy to be loud and attract attention. Yet if you fail to perform or inspire when attention is focused on you, it becomes much more difficult to attract any more attention.

You can get your way by being a bully. But what you get that way will never fulfill the inner desires of your heart.

If you push your way through life without consideration for others, you'll experience an empty and cold existence. That's certainly not what you want, is it?

When you feel the urge to take advantage of others, even in a seemingly minor way, remember this. Ultimately, you will lose more than you gain.

To truly lift yourself up, live with honesty, integrity, respect, peacefulness, humility and honor. That way, your achievements are true achievements that will bring value to the whole of your life and your world.

Valuable beyond calculation

Your life is much too valuable to throw away any of it on negativity. Your time is too precious to fill it with self-pity or anger or resentment.

Would you purposely sit around and set hundred dollar bills on fire? Of course not. So don't make the mistake of needlessly burning through your life, which is vastly more valuable than money. Choose instead to live every day with joy, love and meaningful purpose.

There's no law that says you have to react negatively to negative situations. Ultimately, the way you live is the way you choose to live.

So choose to live in harmony with your highest values. Instead of letting mere circumstances determine how you are, let the beauty and value of your life determine the way you act.

Your unique life is valuable beyond any calculation. Live like it is, and make it even more so.

Assume you can

Expand your idea of what is possible. Dream and imagine and explore the fertile territory beyond your current assumptions.

Whatever your situation in life may be, you are not confined to it. With imagination, focus, commitment and effort, you can move yourself to an even better, more fulfilling reality.

Beyond the existing horizon of your experience are countless possibilities you have not yet considered. Dare to go where you have not gone before, to see life in new and empowering ways.

There is a very real path to the fulfillment of your deepest, most positive and profound desires. Instead of convincing yourself and others that you can't get there, open yourself to more possibilities.

If you assume you cannot get there, that very assumption will keep you chained to where you are. Yet when you assume you can, you will.

Beyond your past experience, beyond your current assumptions, are powerful new possibilities. Imagine those possibilities, find positive, sustained energy in them, and bring them gloriously to life.

New, improved year

There's one key factor that will make this New Year the best one ever. That important factor is your attitude.

The way you most consistently decide to see life will play a major role in the way your life actually unfolds. Right now, as the year begins, make the choice to make your life, and your whole world, the best it can be.

Create a new, improved year by going through it with a new, improved outlook on life. Make this a great year by choosing an attitude that reflects your own unique greatness.

In the year ahead you'll encounter many obstacles, and yet there's one powerful obstacle you don't ever have to deal with again. That obstacle, the one you can get rid of for good, is your own negative attitude.

Just because things can often get difficult, doesn't mean you have to be difficult. No matter what the situation, a positive, empowering attitude is always your best choice.

Stride confidently forward with the highest and best expectations you've ever had. Your life this year is what you make it, so embrace an attitude that will make it positive, fulfilling and great.
