Full richness

Your time is worth much more than money. If you cannot afford to sit and continuously feed hundred dollar bills into a paper shredder, you cannot afford to waste this moment.

This moment and this day are filled with extraordinary possibilities. And you are here right now to make the very most of them.

You have the opportunity, right here and now, to experience a positive, rich and fulfilling life. Why in the world would you ever choose to do anything else?

Instead of wasting your time and energy on anger, choose to invest yourself in love. Rather than burying your unique purpose under meaningless distractions, fulfill and express that purpose with meaningful actions.

Don't throw this moment away by pretending to be something you're not. Live this moment fully by authentically being the best of who you are.

The opportunity of your life is now. Take that opportunity now, while it's here, and live the full richness that is already yours.

Let go of your ego

Your ego won't solve any problems. Your ego won't convince anyone of anything.

Your ego won't make you stronger or more skilled or more capable or more knowledgeable. Mostly, your ego will just get in the way of your true essence.

So choose to tap into your authentic power by choosing to let go of the concerns of your ego. Step purposefully beyond those superficial concerns and step up to a dramatically higher level of effectiveness.

Let go of your ego, and many of your fears and anxieties dissolve. Let go of your ego, and the positive possibilities become more numerous, more powerful and more accessible.

Without ego constantly dragging you down, you can focus on what truly matters. You'll find that one of the most powerful things you can do for yourself is to get past your concerns for yourself.

Let go of your small ego and see life's big, wonderful, valuable picture. Let go of your ego, and let your true beauty and goodness soar.

Into the possible

Even after a thousand failed attempts, success is possible. In fact, each disappointing result brings you closer to the result you intend to achieve.

Your past may be filled with failure and disappointment, or it may be filled with achievement and joy. But no matter how it has been, it doesn't have to hold you back right now.

Right now, you can choose to learn from what has been, and to use that knowledge to move forward. You can build on the past achievements and completely leave behind the past disappointments.

Don't let the past become an excuse. Life proceeds forward from this moment, so choose to proceed forward with it.

Let go of resentment, regret, anger, envy, blame and disappointment. Focus instead on the extraordinary positive possibilities of now, and on your desire to make your life and your world the best they can be.

Now is when you can make now count in good and meaningful and significant ways. Step beyond the past and into the possible.

Effort is opportunity

Every effort, no matter how small or tedious or seemingly insignificant, builds value in your life. Every effort is an opportunity.

With every effort, you make a difference in the world. With every effort, you express your ability and your influence.

Give joy to each effort, and you add joy to your life. Give your attention and focus and gratitude to the efforts, and they produce meaningful, lasting value.

Seek out efforts, perform the efforts, and what you get is achievement. What you get is the experience of life lived in a truly fulfilling and satisfying way.

With effort, problems are solved, obstacles are transcended, and dreams come true. With effort, you can change the world in accordance with your highest, most authentic vision.

Fill each day with positive, purposeful efforts. And you'll fill your world with great meaning and joy.

With this day

With this day comes the possibility for new joy. You can choose, right now, to embrace and fulfill that possibility, or you can choose to ignore it.

With this day comes the opportunity to move forward, to get positive and useful and meaningful things done. You can grab that opportunity and run with it, or you can let it drain away.

This day comes to you filled with great promise. This day gives you time and space and resources with which to enrich your life and your world.

Instead of making judgments about what this day might bring, make firm and positive decisions about what you will do with it. Choose your most desirable direction and then use every moment to work your way forward in that direction.

Right now, you have the privilege of living this day. Remind yourself of how truly fortunate you are, and resolve to make the most of your immense good fortune.

With this day comes the precious and unique gift of your life. Gratefully accept and embrace that gift, and live every moment with positive purpose.

The power of courage

Fear is an obstacle you impose upon yourself. The power of any fear is the power you choose to give it.

And just as surely as you choose to fear, you can choose to move beyond that fear. In an instant you can transform the power of fear into the power of courage.

Fear will grab your attention, and warn you of very real dangers. Fear will heighten your awareness and compel you to be fully prepared, and those are very good and useful things.

But once the fear has done its job, your job is to move forward. Let the fear prepare you, and then quickly do what you have prepared to do.

Power, progress, achievement and fulfillment all come from facing your fears. By doing what you fear, you gain rock-solid confidence and vastly increase your effectiveness.

Every fear is an opportunity to grow in confidence and courage. Face the fear, and find the power of your courage.

Positive example

Don't merely wait or wish or hope for the world to become more positive. The world becomes more positive when you become more positive.

The experience of life in this world is not something that is imposed upon you. Life is precisely and reliably what you choose to make it.

What you cannot control, you can accept, interpret and make use of in a positive and purposeful way. Shine a genuine positive light where you are, and that light will quickly spread beyond you.

Don't complain about how bad things are. Imagine how good life can be, and then persistently act on what you imagine.

Life is the way you live it. Live it well, with joy, with purpose, with care and commitment and love.

Live according to your highest vision and your most treasured dreams. Be the best positive example for all of life to follow.

Living your purpose

The way to have a full and happy life is to live it every chance you get. The way to get beyond the excuses is to stop believing them and to start living your purpose.

Decide to see the obstacles as steps along the path rather than blockades. Let the challenges strengthen you, and let the disappointments inspire you to push more purposefully forward.

Whatever the objective, whatever the dream, there is always a way. You can find it and you can live it by thinking and acting from the perspective of purpose.

You will never be truly satisfied by superficial trinkets and shallow pleasures. Remind yourself, again and again, to put your energy into what really matters.

You deserve much better than to constantly wallow in the distractions. You deserve the exquisite experience of bringing your beautiful, unique purpose to life.

Live today, and every day, and your whole life, like you mean it, and like it is the best you can imagine. Because when you do, it is.

Give your care

If you don't really care about what you're doing, why are you wasting your precious time doing it? If you're going to spend your time on something, then give your care, attention, interest, curiosity and enthusiasm to it.

Life can be so much more than merely a series of transactions. Give your life depth and richness and passion by giving your sincere care to each moment and every activity.

If you're using your time to do it, then it's important. Do it well, with care and attention, then find ways to improve and do it even better.

Achievement comes from caring. A life of true fulfillment comes from truly caring.

Find what you can care about, and put yourself into it with all you have. Find what you can care about, and find delight in the opportunity and experience of deeply caring.

Get completely involved in whatever you're doing, and feel the immense joy of making a real difference. Care deeply, and live fully.

A kind and generous heart

It would be of no value to have love if you could not also give love. There would be no satisfaction in having the world's greatest fortune if there was no one with whom to share your good fortune.

Don't obsess over getting what's coming to you. Focus your energy on giving and expanding all the good things that can come from you.

You'll rarely gain anything by proving that you're right. Instead, put your efforts into doing what is right.

If your ego controls every moment of your life, that life will be little more then an empty shell. To fill your life with richness, live with a kind and generous heart.

If you seek to take without giving, you create bitterness in every direction. The only wealth that will ever bring fulfillment is the wealth you create and give.

Don't settle for a shallow, empty life when you can enjoy so much more. Give your best, with a kind and generous heart, and truly live life at its highest level.

Make an effort

Effort makes you stronger. Effort makes you more effective.

Even if it doesn't immediately bring the results you seek, effort moves you in the direction of your goals. Effort demonstrates and teaches, in ways that are undeniable, what works and what doesn't.

Make an effort, a real, sincere, focused effort, and you make some progress. Make another effort, and another, and another, and you'll surely get where you intend to go.

Dreaming and wishing and planning and intending all have their places. Yet it is effort that finally gets you there.

Effort makes you feel like you're getting something done, because you are. It sure beats complaining or wondering or worrying.

Make an effort and make some progress. Make an effort and put some real substance and life into your dreams.

Put your mind at peace

Put your mind at peace, and put yourself in a powerful state. Let go of the worries and anxieties, and let in the most meaningful and positive possibilities.

You already have enough challenges to deal with. Don't let your own thoughts drag you down.

Instead, quiet those thoughts and feel the beauty of your own being. Rather than getting carried along by one distraction after another, experience the unique power and potential of the moment.

At the center of who you are, there is peace, and it is real. Connect yourself often with that peace, and let its positive power fill every corner of your life.

Put your mind at peace, and free yourself to think and to act according to your highest, most authentic values. See the best possibilities, and see how you can lovingly bring them to life.

Live from a perspective of peace, and live at a higher, more heartfelt level. Put your mind at peace, and be your most sincere and positive self.

Your kindness

There's nothing to be gained by being rude. Yet there's a great deal of benefit in being kind and respectful.

If someone has been rude or hurtful to you, it's natural to feel like being rude and hurtful in return. It's natural and understandable, but not at all beneficial for anyone.

Rudeness projects weakness and insecurity, while kindness and respect impart confidence and strength. Which qualities would you prefer to communicate to others?

The powerful choice is the choice to be genuinely respectful and authentically kind. The way to move forward is to move beyond petty negativity and one-upmanship.

Though your kindness will not always be returned, it will certainly be noticed. And even if it's not appreciated by anyone else, your kindness will always inject more positive value into your own life.

What you give, comes back to you, in ways that are impossible to foresee. Give your kindness, as often as you can, and benefit from the more positive world you are helping to create.

Focus on the goodness

Remind yourself how good you have it. Then challenge yourself to do something meaningful and significant with what you have.

Sure, you have your problems and challenges. Yet they are far overshadowed by the positive possibilities and opportunities open to you.

In fact, some of those very problems might indeed point you toward your most valuable possibilities. Even when life is at its most difficult, it is overflowing with opportunities.

What a shame it would be to have so much and not make full use of it. What a shame it would be to not experience and express and spread life's richness far and wide.

Don't even think about complaining about what you don't have, for it is a waste of your precious life. Focus instead on all the goodness you do have in your world.

Embrace that goodness, and make it even more vibrant as it flows out from you. Realize how good you truly have it, and make it better and better.

Get moving forward

Learn from the past, treasure the past, but don't let it hold you captive. This is a new day, a new moment, and your opportunity to proceed in precisely the direction you choose.

Just because you've had a negative experience doesn't mean you must maintain a negative attitude. Just because things have not been going your way is no reason to stop going.

Right now is when you can turn life around. Right now is when you have the power to choose your attitude, your actions, and the outcomes you create.

The most important part of your life begins right now. Because this is the part you can do something about.

Time moves forward, so get up, get going, get positive and purposeful and get moving forward with it. Now is when you can have a positive and meaningful influence, so make the most of this opportunity.

Whether yesterday was fulfilling or depressing, get over it. Get on with living the way you choose, according to your highest values, with this day you now have.

Act by choice rather than by need

When you act out of need, you are acting from a perspective of weakness. When you act out of authentic choice, you make yourself much stronger and more effective.

Certainly there are things you must have to survive and prosper. Yet you can choose to put yourself in a position where those things are available to you in abundance.

Get out in front of your needs, and transform them into choices. Instead of needing them, you can have them and benefit from them.

As much as possible, put yourself in a position of power by choosing to meet your obligations before they become needs. Instead of needing more money at the end of the month, choose from the beginning of the month to earn more or spend less, or both.

Need puts you in a position of desperation and weakness. It initiates a negative momentum that intensifies and further deepens the need.

Choice puts you on a far more positive trajectory. Every good and purposeful choice you act upon will steer you away from the need to need, and provide you with much more favorable options.

Prepare and do

Make sure you're fully prepared, and then make purposeful and effective use of that preparation. Work on honing your skills, and then put those skills to meaningful use.

It's important to be able to make things happen and to make a difference. It's even more important to be clear and precise about the kind of difference you wish to make, and then to step forward and actually do it.

Excellence and achievement come from preparation, but not from preparation alone. After the preparation is done, then it is time for the performance.

It's easy to get caught up in making sure you have everything just right before taking action. Don't make endless preparation an excuse for never taking that action.

Practice is essential, and yet if practice is all you ever do, it is largely wasted effort. The reason you prepare and practice is so you can put it to good use.

Get yourself well prepared, and then get yourself busy taking action. Make your preparation count by doing the things you've prepared to do.

Keep reminding yourself

When you feel like feeling sorry for yourself, stop. Remind yourself that self-pity won't get you anything worth having.

When you feel like running away from your problems, stop, turn around and face those problems. Choose to become stronger and to create real value by working your way through them.

Is there work to be done, and you don't feel like making the effort? Remind yourself that in the long run, getting the job done will feel much better than endlessly putting it off.

Living with intention, discipline and focus is not all that complicated or difficult. It's a matter of reminding yourself that it's your best option.

You are absolutely capable of creating and experiencing the very best life you can imagine. You just have to keep reminding yourself to keep choosing it.

A life that's positive, successful and authentically fulfilling comes from the quality of the choices you make in every moment. The life you live is the life you choose, so remind yourself, again and again, to choose the best.

A whole new day of life

It is a rare and wonderful privilege just to be able to experience this moment. Make whatever you do fully worthy of all you have.

You have the considerable good fortune of being immersed in a sea of positive possibilities. Realize how useless and ridiculous it is to complain about what is, when you have the power to choose what to do.

Sure, there is sadness and disappointment, pain, uncertainty and great challenge in your world. Yet you have the opportunity to transcend it all with love and life, with purpose and passion.

Especially when it feels like you have it bad, remind yourself how truly good you have it. Then do something good and valuable and meaningful and beautiful with what you have.

Express gratitude for your good fortune not merely in words, but in the way you live. Make full, positive and consequential use of each moment as you move through it.

Whatever this day brings you, it also brings you a whole new day of life. Choose to make joyful and worthy use of every precious moment.

The best choice

A negative reaction to a negative situation just makes things worse. Is that really what you want?

Envy does not bring you what you desire. Resentment does not make things right.

Instead of getting angry or seeking to get even, consider what you could do to move things forward. Even if the situation does not deserve a positive response, you deserve a positive life.

Base your actions not on what's happened in the past, but on what you wish to create for the future. Instead of getting drawn into an endless conflict, lead the way toward the best outcome you can envision.

What's happened has happened, and no amount of anger or dismay can change that. What you can influence is what comes next, so work to make it positive and fulfilling.

You have the power to respond in whatever way you choose. Choose to lift the world higher, for it's always the choice that's best for you.

All the way there

The most powerful time to persist is when you don't feel like it. Keep going, and the persistence itself will make you feel much better.

The most powerful time for keeping your expectations high is when those expectations are not being met. Persist in expecting the best, and in backing up your expectations with action.

When things are not working out, that's an opportunity for you to get busy working diligently and purposefully. When there's a difficult challenge standing in your way, there's meaningful value on the other side of that challenge.

If it seems you've run out of ideas, and you're being blocked at every turn, go ahead and step confidently forward. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

The energy, the resources and the opportunities are most certainly there. Persistence is how you prove that you're ready and willing to make the most of those opportunities.

When you're weary, frustrated and disappointed, you're also closer than ever to the goal. Persist, and get yourself all the way there.

Embrace the responsibilities

It's easy to be resentful about your responsibilities and commitments, and to see them as burdens. It's much better to enthusiastically embrace the positive opportunities they offer.

Fighting against yourself, and your own obligations, is never in your best interest. Take the high road, gracefully accepting and fulfilling those obligations.

Every area of responsibility gives you the chance to make a positive difference in the world. Each obligation is an opportunity to add value to life.

Create that value, and put yourself at a significant advantage. Embrace the responsibilities, and feel the power that your responsible behavior brings you.

It's true that not everyone is willing to move life forward. Yet those who actually do move life forward are the ones who benefit most from the resulting progress.

Choose to get the most out of life by consistently giving your best to life. Honor your commitments, meet your obligations, and truly enjoy the goodness that you are helping to sustain.

You deserve it

You deserve a great life. So demand it from yourself.

You deserve respect, consideration, inspiration, achievement and fulfillment. So demand those things from your own thoughts and actions.

You deserve a life that's overflowing with joy and richness. And you deserve to be the person who makes it happen.

You deserve the best life you can imagine, and you deserve the experience of taking full responsibility for that life. You are worthy of great and wonderful things, and able to bring those things about if you so choose.

You deserve the very best, but life does not owe it to you. You owe it to yourself.

Get busy, get inspired and get yourself totally committed to fulfilling your greatest possibilities. After all, you deserve to give that to yourself.

Worth it

A life of achievement and fulfillment is a lot of trouble and inconvenience. Go to the trouble, and deal with the inconvenience, because it's the quality of your precious life that's at stake.

Moving in the direction of your dreams can be complicated, challenging, risky and tedious. Jump right in and do it anyway, because your real, authentic dreams are worth it.

You must pay a substantial price to live true to your highest vision of life. Yet that price is a bargain compared to the alternative of a life with meager fulfillment.

Instead of avoiding the challenges and complaining about them, see those challenges for what they are. They are pathways to valuable and meaningful achievement.

It's a lot of trouble to live with integrity and passion and purpose. And you are very much worth the trouble.

A life that demands much of you is a life that offers the greatest richness. For in meeting those demands, you immerse yourself in all that richness.

Getting beyond disappointment

Life will disappoint you on a regular basis, in ways that are big and small. The way to get beyond each disappointment is to get busy doing something positive and meaningful.

It's easy to get caught up in assigning blame, or speculating on how things might have been different, or feeling anger and resentment. None of those things, however, will add any value to your life.

Choose instead to let the disappointment make you stronger and more positively determined. Acknowledge it, and then step forward from it with productive and meaningful action.

When you feel like indulging in self-pity, take that as a prompt to break free from the negative pattern. Use it as an opportunity to initiate an improvement in your world.

Disappointment is a fact of life, but it never has to weigh you down for very long. You can always decide to focus on the positive possibilities in the present moment instead of the shortcomings in the past.

Make the smart choice, and live by intention rather than by chance. Whatever may happen, use it as a starting point for making life better.

Keep expecting the best

Expect the best. Accept what comes. Make the most of it. Repeat.

It's always best to expect the very best of yourself, of others, and of life. Yet those expectations can take time to manifest.

Surely and eventually your persistent positive expectations will bear fruit. So give them the opportunity to do their best work by diligently doing your best work.

Embrace each moment as it comes. You cannot change what has already been handed to you but you can absolutely find a positive course of action.

Keep expecting the very best, and working toward it, especially when circumstances tell you otherwise. Keep expecting the very best, no matter what, and you'll make it happen.

True success is being you

There is great value in who you are. Let it flow into all you do.

Success is not really a matter of getting this thing or having that experience. True success is being able to live each day as the beautiful, authentic person you are.

True success is being you. True fulfillment is a life spent doing what you know is important and meaningful.

When you compromise your integrity, you lose. When you speak and act and give and live from your heart, you win.

Instead of striving to impress others, do those things that will genuinely impress you. Live true to your own highest standards, for they are the ones that really mean something to you.

The treasure that is your life is unique in all the universe. Fully live, enjoy and fulfill the richness that comes from the honest, beautiful reality of who you are.
