Lift the future

Just because you can become frustrated, doesn't mean you must. Just because there are reasons to be angry or envious, resentful or disillusioned, doesn't mean you have to choose any of those negative states.

Your choice of how to feel does not have to be dictated by the world around you. Instead, you can allow your feelings to come from the beauty that's inside you.

Don't base your feelings on the problems. Base them on the positive possibilities.

Envelop your awareness not in judgments about what has been, but in the goodness that can now come from your life. Time moves forward, so look forward, and feel the limitless future as it arrives.

Feel the power and promise of all the possibilities that are now open to you. Inject your own unique goodness and passion into the best of those possibilities to create a beautiful, fulfilling reality.

Your future is what you make it right now. Feel your purpose, feel your beauty, feel your passion for truth and goodness, and lift the future to express and fulfill the best you can imagine.

Today is a choice

Today is a choice. Choose to make it beautiful and productive.

Today is filled with challenges, opportunities, frustrations, possibilities and much more. Choose to make good and meaningful use of it all.

No matter what you have chosen or failed to choose in the past, today you can choose to live at your highest, most fulfilling level. No matter what today brings, you can respond with love, kindness, joy, gratitude and genuine enthusiasm for making a positive difference.

In all of time, today is the one day with which you can now work. Today you can choose to express the miracle of existence in a way that is uniquely yours.

Today, you can choose to lift up and strengthen the values and visions that truly mean the most to you. Today you can choose to rise above the petty negativity and to focus on bringing new beauty and richness to life.

Today is a choice, and you are in a position to make it the smartest, most loving, authentic and meaningful choice you've ever made. Today is your choice, so choose to make it the best one yet.

Follow your why

If you see it as something you merely should do, you'll resent it. Yet when you know it is something you must do, you'll find a way to get it done.

If you feel that the task has been imposed on you by some outside influence, you'll find ways to avoid it. Yet when you understand how the task is connected to your true purpose, you'll find a way to get it done as quickly and effectively as possible.

Knowing why is not merely an interesting bit of information. It is everything.

If you don't know why, you're wasting your precious time. When you are clear about why, when what you're doing truly matters, you're on the path to creating the best life you can imagine.

If you're complaining and resisting, delaying and making excuses, you're not following your why. You can be infinitely more enthusiastic and effective simply by connecting your actions to your purpose.

Choose to intentionally and persistently follow your why. And truly fulfill the unique, magnificent possibility that is your life.

Take a step back

Step back from the loud and pressing concerns of the moment. Step back, get some perspective, and remind yourself of how good life can be.

Many of the things you see as problems would have been considered to be blessings by people in an earlier era. Think of how good you have it, and of how you can make good and fulfilling use of what you do have.

You are able to make a difference, and that ability can literally take you anywhere you wish to go. Though your efforts may be difficult and challenging, those efforts give you some extremely valuable options.

Don't take those options for granted by letting them sit idle and unused. Instead, take them to heart and consider how you can make life richer and more beautiful by making use of what you have.

Take a step back, and look objectively at where you are. What you will see is the great and wonderful opportunity that is your life.

Now, while you have it, seize that opportunity. Life is always good, because you can always make it better.

Let it all be

Do your best at doing what you do, and accept that the rest is as it is. Hold yourself to the highest standards, while letting go of your need to place judgments on others.

Free yourself from the burdens of anger and resentment. No amount of negativity can change what has already happened.

Tap into life's immense abundance by gracefully and gratefully accepting what is. Give richness and meaning to that abundance by putting it to good use with focused effort and persistence.

Nothing is achieved by getting uptight about things that don't really matter anyway. Let it all be, take it all in, and put all your focus and energy into making a positive difference going forward.

Make life good in every moment by allowing life's goodness to be and to grow. Instead of fighting against what has already come to be, make a point of finding the value in it all, and in making that value grow.

From here, you can go anywhere. Let this moment be, and rise from it into the reality of the very best life you can envision.

Get through it

On the other side of the challenge is value. Get through it, and get the value.

Though the effort makes you weary, it also makes you strong. Get through it, and enjoy the full benefit of that strength.

You've already made it this far, and you've already established some good momentum. To get through it, just keep going.

Keep going, though the urge to quit may be strong. Keep going, get through it and get the rewards you've earned.

Get through it, not by fighting but by accepting and persisting in each moment. Get through it, not with resentment for what you must do but with gratitude for what you can accomplish.

You have what it takes, because what it takes is simply making one step, and then the next, and then the next. Step forward, get through it, and bring your own unique value more fully to life.

Live creatively

Don't obsess over how difficult the challenge is. Focus on how creative you can be in working through that challenge.

If what you've been doing is no longer bringing the results you seek, get creative. There is great potential for new value when you step back and look at life with a fresh perspective.

Stir together your thoughts, feelings, knowledge, preferences and experiences. Let unique creativity flow out from your unique perspective.

The best answer may very well be to do what's never been done before. Instead of acting out of habit, act with a sense of adventure and enthusiasm for making new discoveries.

Life at its best is an endlessly creative endeavor. This moment is new, so give it something you've newly created.

Get creative, and enjoy the experience of doing what you do best. Live creatively, and bring great new richness to every day.

Be a better you

No matter what the future brings, it will always bring you the opportunity to make a positive difference. No matter what may happen, you can always respond with integrity and positive purpose.

You can apply the very best of your wisdom and experience to the situations in which you have influence. And you can adjust and adapt to those situations over which you have little or no control.

There's no point in worrying about the future, because your worry will not cause anything positive to happen. Instead, focus on making good and valuable use of the time you have right now, to grow stronger, more capable, more knowledgeable and experienced.

Position yourself so you can find and bring to life the positive value that exists in every situation. Prepare yourself to successfully move forward even in the face of challenge, frustration and uncertainty.

The way to assure a better future is to be a better you, right here and right now. The strength you build within your own life is a powerful tool you can use to create prosperity and fulfillment in any environment.

Every moment is an opportunity to add to that strength by living with love, gratitude, authenticity and positive purpose. Do what it takes to be a better you right now, and build a better world in the days, months and years to come.

Make the effort

Most likely, the task is not as difficult as you first imagine it to be. Most likely, the greatest difficulty to be overcome is convincing yourself to get started with the effort.

So go ahead and make it much easier by letting go of the need to fight with yourself. Just go ahead, get started, and get it done.

Take all the energy you've put into avoiding the effort, and redirect it into productive action. You're already making the effort to avoid, so simply change it into an effort that produces good and valuable results.

Don't waste your time creating clever excuses. Invest your time and actions in meaningful achievement.

Right now, on this day, in this place, you have the power to get yourself started. You absolutely have the power to get beyond all the complaints and worries, anxieties, doubts and excuses that have been holding you back.

You can choose what you do with your thoughts, and what you do with your time. Put that power to positive, meaningful use and bring great new value to your world.

Now that you know

Don't curse the problem. Be thankful that you've become aware of it.

Now that you know it's a problem, you can act to successfully deal with it. Now that you know it's a problem, you have a well-defined way to make progress.

Now that you know, it is no longer a problem. It is a chance for you to make a difference, and to create meaningful value in doing so.

The sooner you know there's a problem, the sooner you can do something about it. The sooner you start taking action, the more effective you'll be.

When there's a problem, there's nothing to fear. Rather, there's good and useful work to be done.

Is there a problem? Then step forward and take hold of the opportunity.

Ordinary hard work

Achievement often appears easy in hindsight, and from the outside looking in. Yet significant achievement is not easy, and is not without considerable problems and frustrations.

It can be discouraging to look at the already-completed achievements of others, and to compare them with the challenges you now face. Keep in mind, though, that even when you can't see the challenges that led to an achievement, they were most certainly there.

Working through difficult challenges is, in fact, what creates achievement. Just because it looks easy doesn't mean it is.

Most of the work of achievement is done when no one is paying attention. Those who achieve, do the work even though it is difficult, demanding, tedious and far from glamorous.

More often than not, even the most impressive results come from plenty of plain old, ordinary hard work. It's not extraordinary talent that distinguishes achievers, but rather an extraordinary level of commitment to getting the work done.

And that's great news, because that same level of commitment is always within your reach. Choose to persist in doing the necessary work, and the achievement you seek is yours.

Successfully being you

Responsible and confident

Responsibility and confidence go hand in hand. Only when you are willing to be fully responsible for your life can you be truly confident in your efforts.

Without responsibility, you might be able to project some degree of self assurance through arrogance. Yet it will lack the power of true confidence.

When you're unwilling to take full responsibility for your own life, think of the message that sends. In effect, you're telling yourself you're not good enough, and that's devastating for your confidence.

You are indeed good enough, and capable of rock solid confidence. The way to connect with and strengthen that confidence is through responsibility.

Don't blame your bad fortune on others, or expect others to supply you with good fortune. Enthusiastically embrace complete responsibility for the quality of your life.

Embrace responsibility and your confidence will soar. Embrace responsibility and confidently live life on your own very best terms.

Being strong

When times are tough, it's tough to be positive. Yet that is your most powerful and effective choice.

When you've been knocked down, it's tough to be sure of what to do next. Yet you can be sure that feeling sorry for yourself will make things even worse.

It's hard to be strong when the challenges seem insurmountable. But the amazingly powerful fact is, you can be strong.

It is precisely because life can be so tough and painful that it can also be so beautiful and fulfilling. Those very challenges that seem so impossible to get through are what set the stage for a life that is magnificent beyond comprehension.

Life can be terribly unfair and difficult and demanding. And yet, against such a background, it is nearly impossible to imagine anything more beautiful and fulfilling than life itself.

Being strong in the face of difficulty is not a matter of training or ability. It is a choice you are free to make in every moment, and a choice that will bring immense value and goodness to your world.

The way you choose

You have a purpose, so choose it. You have control, so use it.

What happens to you isn't the end of the story. What really makes a difference is what you do with it.

Excuses and complaints give you comfort, but little else. Positive intention, commitment, action, discipline and persistence are what create a life of great fulfillment.

You are not your past, you are not your job title, you are not your bank balance or the car you drive or the neighborhood where you live. You are who you choose to be, and the way you choose to act, in this new moment.

The possibilities are limited only by your imagination, so imagine from your deepest, driving purpose. Feel the passion as it wells up within you, and let it energize every part of your life.

Live by choice, not by chance. This irreplaceable moment is now here, so act to make its great value uniquely yours.

Go one better

Do circumstances demand that you get up an hour earlier? Then put yourself firmly in control, go one better, and get up two hours earlier.

As long as you're making the effort, make it count. Rather than doing just the minimum required to merely get by, do the maximum of which you're capable.

Don't just break even by giving what you're expected to give. Go one better, and exceed everyone's expectations.

A little bit of extra effort will end the frustration of always playing catch-up. Instead of constantly being run over by the problems, you'll be out in front, ready and waiting to transform them into opportunities.

Instead of resenting what you must do, rejoice at the opportunity to make a difference. Instead of casting yourself as a victim of low expectations, raise those expectations higher and higher through your commitment to excellence.

Life asks much of you, and with a little extra effort you can go one better. Go one better, and earn the ability to joyfully live life on your own best terms.

For a reason

What happens, happens for a reason. Watch, listen, feel, experience, learn and grow.

What may seem to be a coincidence is actually a consequence. What may appear to be a random occurrence is actually a direct result of something.

Life's events and situations are always telling you something of value. Pay attention and, firmly grounded in your purpose, hear what life has to say.

By understanding where consequences come from, you can learn to choose the ones you desire. By focusing carefully on life's various causes and effects, you can create the specific outcomes you wish to experience.

When things are not going your way, it can be easy and tempting to blame it on random bad luck. Yet it is far more empowering to take full responsibility for your situation, because that puts you on a path to change it for the better.

For every result, there is a cause. Take positive, purposeful control of the causes, and get the results you truly desire.

Uniquely beautiful

Stop waiting or wishing or begging or hoping for someone or something to give you what you want. Your fulfillment is yours to create right now.

No one can give you what you truly desire. Because what you truly desire is to make a real and meaningful difference in your own unique way.

To fill your life with meaningful rewards, fill your time with purposeful activity. The quality of your life is based on the quality of your moments.

When you waste your time with emptiness or negativity, you're cheating yourself. Remind yourself what an enormous opportunity you have in each and every moment, and put those opportunities to good use.

This day, with all its problems, frustrations and disappointments, is nonetheless a great and magnificent treasure. It is filled with positive possibilities, and you are here to choose and to fulfill the best of them.

Have the courage to see and to acknowledge just how uniquely beautiful you are. And have the courage to fully live that beauty for all the world to see.

Amazingly able

Progress is made by those who do what they are afraid to do. Progress is made by those who do what they did not previously know they could do.

You cannot push the world forward by staying safe and comfortable. You cannot make great advances by holding tightly to the tired excuses and outdated assumptions.

It is energizing and liberating to turn down a road you have not traveled before. To reach toward what you cannot yet touch brings new passion and strength to your life.

You are amazingly able to do not only what you have already done, but also what you cannot yet do. Your capacity for learning and improvement has no limit.

Beyond where you are comfortable is where you will grow and improve and achieve. Nudge yourself away from what you already know, and discover how very much more you can be.

Give yourself the priceless gifts of new experiences, new skills, new knowledge and the confidence of knowing how quickly you can grow. Expand your horizons, again and again, and discover that every limit is there to be transcended.

Limitless treasure

Every moment is a new opportunity to more fully experience and express the value of your life. The value you live is the value you give.

What you get out of life is not merely a result of what you put into it. What you get out of life and what you put into it are precisely one and the same.

Every moment is an opportunity to invest yourself in meaningful purpose. The quality of that investment at any given time is what defines the true quality of your life.

Fulfillment is not about acquiring something that exists outside of you. It is about more richly and more completely experiencing the unique, magnificent value that is already and always within you.

Life's circumstances do not, in and of themselves, enhance or detract from the value of your life. Each event, each circumstance gives you a new way to explore and experience that value.

The best you can live is the best you are willing to give, and there's no limit to what that can be. Fully invest yourself in each moment, and delight in the limitless treasure that is already yours.

Grab the opportunity

The problems will only get bigger if you run from them or hide from them. The way to truly make a problem go away is to work through it.

By acknowledging that there's a problem, you express an initial degree of confidence in your ability to handle it. By digging in and going to work on the problem, you set success in motion.

You don't want to obsess over the problems, but you don't want to ignore them either. The best approach is a realistic, confident, active approach.

In each problem there is real opportunity for the creation of meaningful value. So it just makes sense to be eager and enthusiastic and positive about bringing that value to life.

When you deal with difficult problems you must make difficult and painful choices. Yet as painful as those choices may be, ignoring the problem will eventually lead to much, much more pain.

When you spot a problem, get quickly, confidently and effectively out in front of it, and do what you do best. Grab the opportunity that's in the problem, and be the one who brings that opportunity to life.

Live now

Don't be held back by what has not yet happened or by what is already over. Live now, with all you have.

There's no need to wait for everything to be perfect. Live now in this moment while you have it, before its unique opportunities are gone.

Some things may turn out great, and other things may be disappointing. Live now, when you can do your best with what you have.

Even when the challenges seem impossibly overwhelming, there is always something you can do to make a positive difference. Live now, do it now, and work your way steadily forward.

No action is wasted when it is undertaken with authentic purpose behind it. Live now, with meaning, and use this moment to bring new richness to your world.

You are here right now to enjoy, to experience, to create and achieve, to love, and to live. Live now, for now is the precious moment when life is yours.

Think a positive thought

Think a positive thought, and you'll take a positive action. Take a positive action, and you'll get a valuable result

Thoughts can often seem easy, light, and inconsequential. After all, on its own a mere thought doesn't have the power to do anything.

However, you most certainly have the power to do many things. And your thoughts are what determine and direct the actions you take.

If you continually focus your thoughts on the things you don't want, those things will surely find their way into your life. By the same measure, focusing your thoughts on your most positive possibilities enables you to make those possibilities real.

When life brings you disappointment after disappointment, it's easy to make all your thoughts negative ones. Yet it is just as easy, and far more empowering, to respond with positive thinking.

If you had the power to change your life for the better, would you use that power? You do indeed have that power, and it is in the thoughts you choose to think.

Perspective of abundance

Consider the overwhelming abundance to which you are already connected. When you fully value and appreciate what you do have, there is no need to obsess and distress over what you don't have.

By all means dream, and work to make those dreams real. Yet do it from an empowered perspective of abundance, not from a weak position of need.

Seek not to take from life, for in truth you already and always have more than enough. Choose instead to see yourself continually giving to life, and thereby fulfilling the most beautiful possibilities that live within you.

It is by sincerely giving of yourself that you strengthen your connection with life's abundance. The more often you act to make a difference, the more resources you'll have for doing so.

See each day, each task, each action from a perspective of abundance. Transform that abundance into value and fulfillment, and raise your world higher and higher.

Feel your purpose, feel your dreams, and then act upon them with confidence. As you make meaningful use of it, life's abundance keeps on coming your way.

Simple, magnificent miracle

If you're not happy, it's because you've convinced yourself not to be. If you're not overwhelmingly joyful at the prospect of living this very moment, your thoughts of negativity are covering up that natural joy.

Your existence is real, it is now, and it is amazing. Your life is inherently fulfilling, and a source of limitless wonder and joy.

That joy is yours simply by allowing it. That fulfillment is yours simply by living it as it unfolds.

You don't need to first accumulate a lot of possessions, relationships, experiences or power. All you have to do is to quit fighting and to quit denying the beautiful, unique spirit that is alive in you.

Let go of all thoughts to the contrary, and experience how truly beautiful your life already is. Delight in the simple, magnificent miracle of your existence.

Feel the joy that is always there, ready to flow out from you in limitless measure. Let go of the conditions and limits you've placed on happiness, and let that happiness easily and naturally fill your world.

Be that person

There are certain things you seek to experience, and a certain life you desire to live. To experience that life, be that person who will live it.

Be that person on the inside, with your thoughts, values, priorities and commitments. Be that person on the outside, with your actions, your relationships and your gifts to life.

You have control over who you are and what you do, so make good and meaningful use of that control. Be that person who is qualified, prepared and inspired to live the life you wish to live.

Give achievement a prominent place within who you are. And you'll experience that achievement as it becomes real in the world around you.

Give your dreams the love and attention they deserve. And you'll see those dreams come to fruition in your life.

Within you is a vision that's your very own, unique gift to all that is. Be that person who lives that vision, and from it you'll create great and wonderful richness.
