Top priority

You are already highly successful at achieving your true priorities. If you're not happy with what that success has brought into your life, you can change those priorities.

Your true priorities are not based on what you say they are, or on what you might like for them to be. Your true priorities are the ones you give your time and effort to act upon.

If something is important enough to you, you'll find a way to make it happen. Look around at your life, at what you've made happen, and you'll see a clear picture of what has been important to you up to this point in time.

If you look around at your situation and don't like everything you see, change your priorities. The way to change those priorities is not merely with what you say or think or plan or hope, although your thoughts and hopes and plans can give you good direction.

Ultimately, though, to truly adopt new, more positive and enriching priorities, you must act on them. Every little moment of every day gives you an opportunity to do so.

Whatever you desire will most assuredly be yours when you make it a top priority. Right now is when you can do precisely that.

Let life arrive

Open yourself to all that is here and now. Open yourself to the sounds, the textures, the sights, the tastes, the aromas and the feelings as they arrive in your awareness.

Let life arrive, and let yourself marvel at the wonder and abundance of it all. Experience for yourself, free from all doubt, how anything is possible.

All that you desire is somewhere within all you already have. And now you have the fortuitous opportunity of working steadfastly to fully express it.

Open yourself to life's best possibilities as they ride in on waves of now. What life continually brings you is always more than enough, when you choose to make loving use of it.

Let go of the illusion that you can win by fighting. Let your highest dreams be nourished by each and every thing that comes your way.

Let life arrive in all its richness. And as it flows through your awareness and your purpose, delight in adding your own unique value.

Working the possibilities

You don't get what you merely wish for. You get what you live for and what you work for.

The life you experience does not depend on what happens to come your way. The life you experience is based on how you choose to live it.

The priorities that matter in your life are not the ones you just talk about. Your true priorities, the ones that determine which way your life proceeds, are the ones you consistently act on.

You have the opportunity right now, today, to bring great quantities of richness and fulfillment into your life. Yet that richness will not come from what you wish for, or what you talk about, or what you plan to do someday.

That richness will come from what you actually do with the time and the energy and the resources you have available to you. That richness will come from working the possibilities that are uniquely yours.

Skip right on past the wishing for and talking about and planning to stage. Get right to work on your best possibilities, and experience the unmatched joy of bringing them fully to life.

Leading expert

You are the world's leading expert when it comes to your own life. You know better than anyone else what you truly desire, what's most important to you, and what you most enjoy doing.

It's always helpful to consider the advice and opinions of others. Yet it's rarely ever a good idea to let anyone else make your decisions for you.

A lifetime of experience has given you a unique and valuable perspective on what's best for your life. When you're seeking some good advice, be sure to listen to your own.

Yes, it's easier to blindly follow someone else's advice than it is to think for yourself. Plus, when things don't work out you have someone to blame.

You're far better off, however, following your own best instincts when it comes to the direction of your life. Sure, that means you must take full responsibility, and yet with that responsibility comes the possibility of real fulfillment.

Listen to others, learn from others, and let their positive examples inspire you. Then decide for yourself, move confidently forward and live the life you were truly meant to live.

There are those

Those who think they have all the answers, don't. Those who admit when they don't know, learn.

Those who figure they can gain something by deception, gain nothing worth having. Those who always act in truth, gain power that transcends their actions.

The person who fantasizes about something for nothing, gets nothing. The person who embraces responsibility and willingly puts forth effort, gets control and influence, richness and fulfillment.

There are those who insist on doing what's right, even when their good deeds go unnoticed. Those who do what is wrong, even when they are clever, eventually are found out.

If you look hard enough you might find a shortcut. But it probably won't take you where you truly wish to go.

There are those who live with uncompromising integrity. Those who don't, surely and eventually wish they did.

The real richness

This day is quickly passing. Do something rich and fulfilling with it.

This opportunity you have, has no limit. Dare to dream your biggest dreams, right now, for now is when you can live them.

Don't concern yourself with appearing impressive, or with appearing any other way. Give yourself fully to being authentic, for that is where the real richness is.

Fall fervently in love with all that is now, and all its value will be yours too. Stand in awe of the possibilities, and be carried along with the very best of them.

Fully enjoy the breathtaking wealth of living that this very day is now bringing to you. All the goodness you could ever think to hope for, is ready for you to create.

The real richness of life is in you today. Let it lift you ever higher.

Positively powerful

Relax, and remember how truly beautiful and unique you are. Relax, and remember how positively powerful you can be.

Don't waste your time wishing for something outside of you to magically make your life easier. Instead, make life easy on yourself by making full use of your magnificent capabilities.

The pain of what you worry about is mostly in the worry itself. The joy you seek to experience is yours as soon as you allow it to be.

Feel how truly good you know your life can be. Act on those feelings, right now, and the goodness comes to life.

Most of the difficulties are difficult only because you have decided they are. Gratefully embrace them, and you'll touch their positive value.

Remind yourself how good life can be. From there, you can make it even better.

Decisively to life

Every achievement is an idea that has been acted upon. Every success story is a story about doing what must be done to make the success happen.

A single idea can end up being worth millions of dollars. Yet for that to happen, it cannot remain merely an idea.

Sustained and focused action is the way wishes and intentions are transformed into results and achievements. It's great to have a clever, creative idea, but only when you actually do something about it.

It's powerful and effective to know what to do, but only when you actually do it. Dreams come true not just because they're nice and desirable, but because they're worked on.

Don't keep your greatest possibilities locked away in your thoughts. Bring those possibilities to life with your actions.

When you have a great idea, or a beautiful intention, give it the love, respect and expression it deserves. Act on it, now and for as long as it takes, and bring it decisively to life.

Long after

Long after the kind word is spoken, the encouragement remains. Long after the good deed is done, the goodness lingers on.

Long after the moment passes, the joy continues. Long after the lesson is learned, wisdom keeps growing.

What you do in this moment brings value not only to this moment. Much of the value you create now can stay with you always.

The truth of who you are, and of what you do, accumulates as time goes on. That's why staying focused on what's truly important can bring such spectacular results.

The sooner you make the effort, the more its power can be multiplied. Value continues to build on top of value, so the best thing you can do right now is create some more of it.

Long after this moment is gone, you can be profoundly thankful for the way you lived it. This is your chance to make it count, now and long after.

This beautiful day

This is no ordinary day. It's unique, it's special, and there's never been another one like it.

This day, filled with new possibilities, will never come again. Truly it is a treasure you've been fortunate enough to receive, and you can do with it what you wish.

You can choose to embrace this day's unique value and create even more value with it. You can decide to stand up, step forward and live this day with all the richness and joy you can imagine.

All sorts of fortunate circumstances have come together to place you in this unique and beautiful day. Now is your opportunity to make the most of that good fortune.

For each difficult challenge, there are a thousand positive possibilities. From every disappointment, come new opportunities for meaningful joy.

Field of possibilities

Express your true desires in your thoughts, and you have a dream. Express those true desires in your words, and you have a plan.

Express your desires in your actions, persistently and consistently. And you have the attainment of whatever you desire.

Whatever it is you desire to have, to be, or to experience, already exists within the realm of possibility. The more fully you express that desire, the more completely it appears in your life.

Fulfillment is not a matter of getting something you don't have. It is a matter of fully expressing something you know is already there.

The difference between possibility and reality comes with the living of that possibility. Live the possibilities with all you are, and you make them real.

Whatever you can imagine has already been created in the vast and endless field of possibilities. Think it, speak it, act on it, live it, and let it unfold for all the world to celebrate and enjoy.

Be appreciative

Life brings you great and wonderful gifts each day. Be aware, be appreciative, and be willing to make the best use of every one.

Often, the most valuable of life's gifts don't look very appealing when you first encounter them. They appear as demanding problems and complicated challenges.

Be appreciative anyway, and soon you'll begin to see the positive value that's hidden in those difficulties. Be appreciative, and you'll discover ways to make meaningful use of that value.

What you have may not seem like much, yet within what you already have is your connection to all you could ever desire. Truly appreciate what you already have, what you already know, what you already can do, and you'll activate that connection to limitless abundance.

Be appreciative of the truth, even when it is painful. Be appreciative of each moment, of each circumstance, of each encounter, for everything can add richness to your life when you allow it.

Be appreciative of whatever may come. And you'll see your own unique way to make it great.

Disruptions

Sooner rather than later, your plans will be disrupted. Something will break down, someone will forget, or the weather will turn nasty.

Life rarely proceeds exactly as planned. Even so, you can find a way to proceed, and to succeed, in fulfilling your intentions.

Don't make the disruptions worse by complaining, second-guessing, or feeling sorry for yourself. Quickly accept that whatever has happened, has happened, and do what you must do to deal with it.

Yes, you'd much rather be doing what you originally planned. So remind yourself that the fastest way to get back to what you planned is by accepting and addressing the disruption.

Instead of worrying about finding fault, put your energy into finding a way forward. Instead of envisioning all sorts of negative scenarios that might result, focus on the positive, effective actions you can take.

Your life will never be completely free of disruptions. Yet you are always free to move quickly, decisively and positively past each one.

Decide with your heart

Decide with your heart, and then do. Decide with your heart, and then stay decided until the job is done.

Decide to do what you know is right for you. Then don't let anything stop you from getting it finished.

Feel the doubts and fears, and then move forward anyway. Each time anyone tells you why you can't, remind yourself again of why you must.

If circumstances are less than ideal, so be it. You can deal with the challenges as they come, and move steadily toward the achievement of what you've decided.

Decide with your heart, and you'll naturally be committed to that decision. Whatever may come, you'll know you have what it takes to get the job done.

From the depth of your being, from the truth in your heart, decide what you will do. Then delight in the process and in the fulfillment of getting it done.

Going your way

How do you get the things in your life going your way? Take responsibility for making them go your way.

How do you make sure the day is filled with what you prefer to be doing? Be the person who fills it.

How do you get the most value and fulfillment from your precious time? Use that time to take meaningful, value-producing action.

Do what it takes to take the initiative. Now is when you can decide how your life is going to be and do the work to make it so.

Make tomorrow a great day by preparing for it today. Instead of complaining about how things turn out, do the work that will determine how they turn out.

What would your life look like if it looked exactly the way you wish? Take control, take the initiative, and you can make it so.

Your priceless legacy

Life does not owe you anything, because life has already given you everything. You owe yourself the courtesy of working to make the most of it all.

You are alive in a universe filled with limitless possibilities. Your purposeful, focused, and persistent actions can transform any possibility you choose into great value.

The abundance to which you already have access is far greater than anything you could think to ask for. However, what you can ask of yourself is to make it all into a meaningful and rewarding experience.

In life's great abundance you'll find more than enough energy and resources for magnificent fulfillment. It is up to you to create and express that fulfillment through your thoughts, actions and commitments.

You owe it to yourself and to your best possibilities to fully bring those possibilities to life. You owe it to yourself to make the effort and to do the work to create the unique fulfillment that only you can bring into being.

Your precious, unique life connects you with all that is. Every moment is your opportunity to more fully express your priceless legacy.

In the doing

Make the effort, make it your best, and then make another. Fulfillment is in the doing.

Planning is helpful, watching what others do is instructive, learning is useful, and connecting with your dream is inspiring. Making the effort ties it all together and gets the job done.

If you're discouraged or frustrated, disillusioned, unhappy or filled with doubt, get going and get busy. Making the effort will make the difference.

If you're worried that you'll encounter too many problems, stop worrying. There will be plenty of problems, and you can create great value by diligently working your way through each one of them.

Don't waste your time wishing that you had more money or time or resources to work with. You have more than enough to get started, and the more you do the more you'll be able to do.

Achievement is in the doing, satisfaction is in the doing, and real, lasting fulfillment is in the doing. So go ahead, right now, and get busy doing.

The choice is yours

If you wish to live a day filled with anger, you can choose to be angry. Or if you wish to live a day filled with joy, you can choose to be joyful.

This day does not make the choice for you, and no other person makes that choice either. The choice is entirely up to you.

Why can some people be happy even when times are hard while others are filled with despair even when all is well? It is the individual, internal choice, not the external circumstance, that ultimately determines how life is experienced.

In fact, it is more than that. Because whatever is going on in your own mind and feelings will soon be happening in your outer world.

This day is yours to choose. This life is yours to choose.

As long as you have the choice, you might as well choose the very best. Decide how you truly wish to live, for right now the choice is yours.

Your starting point

You are where you are. Accept it and feel the power your acceptance gives you to move forward.

This moment is as it is. Accept its uniqueness and experience the freedom of not having to fight against it.

There are difficult challenges in your life. Accept them and feel the energy that will enable you to rise above them.

Accept that this is your starting point. Instead of placing judgments on it, see the real, positive value that's already yours.

You cannot change where your past priorities and choices have brought you. Yet you can make use of the wisdom you've earned from it all to create a future that fulfills your most treasured dreams.

Lovingly and gratefully accept who you've been, what you've done, what you have and where you are. For you can now transform it all into what you most wish to be.

Positive thoughts

It is not easy to think positive thoughts when the world around you appears to be so negative. In fact, it can be as difficult as anything you've ever done.

However, it is absolutely possible to fill your mind with positive thoughts no matter what your circumstances. Doing so empowers you like nothing else can.

To think positively is to align yourself with the truth that you're immersed in a universe of limitless, growing abundance. To think positively is to graciously accept that your life is destined for meaningful and unique fulfillment.

Instead of placing a judgment on your situation, apply your most positive intentions to that situation. Instead of seeing the world as negative, see yourself as a powerful agent of the positive possibilities.

If you find yourself giving in to negativity, you are selling yourself short. The moment you feel the slightest twinge of a negative thought, stop and remind yourself how powerful you are.

Do the disciplined, intentional work to keep your thoughts positive. Because whatever you most consistently think, is where your life will surely and steadily go.

What you seek

When you look for things to complain about, you'll find plenty. When you look for things to be joyful about, you'll also find plenty.

So what kind of world do you wish to live in? Do you prefer to live in a world full of annoyance and frustration, or would you rather live in a world filled with opportunities for joy?

You can choose the quality of your world by choosing your focus. You can choose the quality of your life by choosing what you seek.

Seek to be a true, sincere friend, and you'll find that you have many good friends. Seek to provide real, honest, creative value and you'll experience much meaningful value flowing into your life.

Whether you realize it or not, whether you like it or not, you are highly effective at achieving the goals that most intensely occupy your awareness. So what exactly are the things that most intensely and most frequently fill your awareness?

Your attitude in every moment defines what you are seeking. And what you seek, is what you get.

Are you?

Are you killing time, or are you bringing it to life? What you do with this moment matters much, because this moment is the most valuable thing you now have to work with.

Are you being a burden, or are you being useful? There's something valuable and unique that you can contribute, and your outlook will brighten as soon as you do.

Are you making excuses, or are you exploring the opportunities? With a positive, focused and purposeful approach, you can transform the challenges into meaningful rewards.

If what you're getting from life is not living up to your expectations, ask yourself this. What can you make more positive and meaningful about what you're putting into your life?

Each moment you live is your chance to have a real and powerful influence on the way your life unfolds. Every decision, every priority, every thought and action makes a difference.

Are you living your life at the highest and most fulfilling level you can imagine? Go ahead, imagine, and do what it takes to make it so.

Yet you can

You cannot succeed in fighting against the wind. Yet you can harness its power and do great things with it.

You cannot now be anywhere other than in this moment. Yet you can transform this very moment into whatever kind of experience you wish to live.

You cannot stop the sun from setting. Yet you can prepare yourself to make the very most of the new day that comes when the sun surely rises again.

You cannot stop the years from passing. Yet you can fill each one of those years with a life that's rich in meaning.

There are many things beyond your control. Yet you can live true to your most authentic purpose no matter what may come.

You cannot be sure of what the future will bring. Yet you can choose right now, and always, to continue bringing your own unique beauty to life.

Woven together

A strong, thick rope is not made of one solid strand of material. It is composed of dozens, or hundreds, or even thousands of small threads, all woven together in the same direction.

It is so easy to break a small thread that you might consider it to be insignificant. Yet if there were no small threads, there would be nothing with which to construct the strong, thick rope.

In the same way, every great achievement is made from dozens, or hundreds, or perhaps tens of thousands of smaller efforts, all woven together in the same direction. Though each effort may seem so trivial as to not be worth the effort, it is actually an essential component of the overall achievement.

In this very moment is your opportunity to make a small effort. Make use of the opportunity, and the next one, and the next.

When you do, you soon will have woven together something of great value, something strong and useful. You will have something big and impressive to show for all those small, focused efforts.

No effort is too small to matter. In every moment, and in every situation, you can move surely and steadily ahead.

Your very essence

What you truly desire, you cannot ever take from anybody else. Because what you truly desire, is to fulfill your own unique purpose.

If you cheat or steal, you gain nothing of real value. If you destroy or injure, you are just making life more difficult for everyone, especially including you.

There are no shortcuts to the real fulfillment you seek. When you grab the mere tokens of that fulfillment, you push the real substance of it farther away.

There is no such thing as something for nothing. Even if there were, you would not want it, for it would bring no fulfillment.

Go ahead, make the commitment, make the effort, and persist in that effort until you can feel the fulfillment start to take hold. Go ahead and do the hard work to make a positive difference in your own special way, because that is what you long to do.

You are immensely valuable, and that value can be fully expressed only through sustained and focused effort. Make the commitment to live that value, for it is your very essence, and well worth whatever you must endure.

Cheerfully do

Don't be resentful of your responsibilities. Instead, be thankful for your abilities.

Don't feel burdened by your obligations. Instead, feel the freedom and possibilities in the opportunities you have to make a difference.

Life can often be serious, complicated and demanding. It's not all fun and games.

Yet every day, no matter what it holds, is a chance for real fulfillment. Every situation is a situation to which you can bring positive meaning and purpose.

If you get hung up on fighting against what you have to do, you can miss out on some of the most valuable and enriching things you're able to do. If you waste a lot of energy on resentment, you have that much less energy available to create achievement.

Cheerfully do what there is for you to do, then step up and do even more. Life is yours to be lived, so give your life the richness you deserve.
