Invitation to joy

Life is constantly inviting you to experience new joy. Choose to accept more of those invitations.

You work hard to be able to live your life in the way you choose. So make sure you truly live it.

Even when you are hard at work, live with a playful and joyous attitude. Even when the situation is exceedingly serious, don't take yourself too seriously.

Give your spirit just as much nourishment as you give your body and your mind. Every richness you'll ever experience is connected to the beauty inside you.

It's easy to make the excuse that you're too busy, because you probably are. Remember though, that there's much more to life than just keeping yourself productively occupied.

A new and unexpected joy can revive your spirit, and make everything you do more effective. When you follow your heart, your mind will soon come to thank you.

True intentions

When you choose to achieve, the choice goes far beyond you. When you truly choose to achieve an authentic purpose, you tap into the immense power of intention.

When you commit to make something meaningful happen, you create a new source of energy. With persistent focus, that energy grows stronger and stronger.

What you must have, you suddenly have the ability to acquire. What you must know, you suddenly are able to discover.

True intention is not merely a mental exercise. It is a powerful, visceral force.

The way to have it, is to follow your purpose. Make the commitment to do what is authentically meaningful to you, and through you, it absolutely begins to happen.

Feel the unique beauty and value of who you are. Boldly feel your true intentions, and ride joyfully along as you bring them to life.

Begin the beauty

If you consider it to be impossible, you won't do it. In fact, you won't even make the attempt.

So, don't consider it to be impossible. Instead of thinking about why you can't, just get busy working on how you can.

Instead of thinking about why you can't, feel the empowering passion of why you must. Let go of the scolding, limiting voice of your ego and follow the limitless yearning of your spirit.

Stop analyzing and anticipating how difficult it will be. Focus your heart on how wonderful it will be.

Start feeling, moving and celebrating the good fortune you have of being able to make things happen. Go beyond merely considering the possibilities and jump into the beautiful reality of living the best of those possibilities.

Begin the beauty of your dream right now. Show life how amazingly good it can be.

Most challenging

The more excuses you come up with to avoid doing it, the more important it is to get it done. After all, if it didn't really matter, you wouldn't bother with all the excuses.

Whatever you feel yourself resisting, is what you must find a way to do. Because when you can get past the resistance, what you'll be able to create is great and fulfilling value.

It is much, much easier to give in to the excuses. But then all you'll be left with is regret.

It is much more difficult to do those great and wonderful things you know you're capable of doing. Yet from that difficulty comes the golden experience of the life you know you are meant to live.

Go ahead and feel the fear, feel the doubt, feel the frustration and discomfort and apprehension. Then, take all that energy and lovingly, joyfully, enthusiastically turn it around.

Step confidently forward in precisely the direction that is most challenging to you. Because in that same direction, you'll also find what is most rewarding to you.

Choose to forego what is easy right now. And deliver yourself into the realm of what is truly great and fulfilling.

Critical link

You are the critical link between what is possible and what is real. With your actions, you can bring to life the best of what can be.

Life is awash with great and wonderful possibilities. Yet possibilities alone are not enough.

Someone has to follow those great possibilities, and work at them, and breathe meaningful life into them. In your world, that someone is you.

Celebrate your good fortune of being connected to life's best possibilities. And even as you celebrate, get to work doing what must be done to make those possibilities happen.

The possibilities are so valuable precisely because of what you can do with them. So by all means, do with them what you know you can do.

For it is in choosing your own unique possibilities and making them real, that you experience true fulfillment. Get up, get going, and enjoy that fulfillment in great abundance.

Time at hand

You can't make more hours in each day. Yet you can put more purpose and focus and meaning in each hour.

Blaming a lack of time is like blaming the sun for rising. There's nothing you can do about it, so it's not a factor to concern yourself with.

What you can do, is make the commitment to yourself to make each moment count for something meaningful and valuable. What you can do, is allow your authentic purpose to guide your focus, your actions and your use of the time that's at hand.

Instead of worrying or being distracted about things that really don't even matter, give your energy to what you truly care about. Instead of letting the time slip away, allow the best of your dreams to more fully unfold with each passing moment.

Remember constantly who you really are and why you have chosen to go in the direction you're going. Every thought, word and action that comes from your true purpose will draw great value from the moment you're in.

Whatever your age or situation, there's plenty of time to live richly. And that time is here right now.

Continuing renewal

There is a new world coming to light each morning. There is a new life being born in each moment.

With the dawning of every day, disappointments are transformed into positive determination, and then eventually into new beauty. What were once mistakes take on new life as valuable experiences.

Life is a process of continuing renewal. As you move forward through time, you encounter new possibilities for more fully expressing the unique beauty that lives in your heart.

What has come before may have been very good, or not so good. What comes now can always be much better and even more meaningful.

Lovingly embrace the fresh new possibilities that are now coming to life. Treasure the best of what has been, and carry that treasure forward as you create new richness.

Open yourself to the new opportunity that comes with each breath you take. And be more fully alive than ever before.

Richness in the challenges

It may be inconvenient, yet you can do it. It may be frustrating or complicated, time-consuming and tedious, and yet you can do it.

You know you can achieve what you choose to achieve. You can reach the goals you are most firmly committed to reaching.

Sure, life has been unfair to you and you find yourself at a disadvantage. Even so, you still have the powerful advantage of being able to choose where to focus your time, attention and attitude.

So instead of focusing on the excuses, focus on how you can make the most of the opportunities now in front of you. Instead of focusing on what has gone wrong, focus on creating new and meaningful value.

If you've already tried and failed, now is when you can stop merely trying. Now is when you can take a more positive and proactive approach of knowing you can and doing whatever you must.

Along the most difficult trails you'll find the most spectacularly beautiful scenery. See the richness that's hiding in the challenges, and bring that richness to life.

Much to work with

Today, you're more experienced and more knowledgeable than you've ever been. And that makes you more capable of achievement than ever before.

If you've attempted something in the past and been disappointed, today you can make another stronger, more experienced and more informed attempt. Today you could very well make a breakthrough.

Living the moments of your life certainly takes its toll. And yet, in living through those many days and hours you continually add value and substance to the whole of your experience.

Now is when you can tap into that value. Now is when you can achieve in a way that's more meaningful and effective than anything you've previously known.

The joys, the pains, the challenges, the triumphs, the disappointments and the moments of unspeakable beauty all add to the richness of your being. The opportunity you now have is to express that richness in new and fulfilling ways.

Whatever life may have given you, it has given you much to work with. See the value, make thankful and meaningful use of it, and live the richness that continues to grow within you.

Winners and winners

There are those who win now, and those who will win later. If everyone were to win first place all at once, the victory would have no real meaning.

If you resent those who win the race, you give up a valuable opportunity. You give up the opportunity to learn from their examples.

There are those who win in one area of life, and others who win in other areas of life. If everyone was the best at the very same thing, think of how terribly tedious and predictable things would be.

Just because one person wins, or excels, or achieves, does not mean everyone else loses. Life's victories do not happen in a vacuum, and their valuable consequences reach far beyond those who achieve them.

Choose to be inspired, to learn from, and to catch the positive energy of those who win. Then make use of that energy, and build on it to win in your very own way.

Sincerely celebrate the victories of those who win. For that makes you a winner, too.

Much to do

What makes you weary is not what you have done. What makes you feel weary is the thought that there is so much more you have to do.

What if you were to look at it in a different way, though? What if, instead of letting your commitments and responsibilities make you feel weary, you could choose for them to make you feel empowered?

Remind yourself that every action you must take enables you to make your mark on the world. Each of those commitments and responsibilities represents an opportunity for you to make a difference.

Consider how empty and meaningless life would be if there were no one counting on you to get things done. Precisely because there is much you must do, there are many powerful ways you can have a positive influence on your world.

Instead of resenting or disparaging what you must do, find a way to connect it to what you most passionately value. Instead of falling into a feeling of weariness, choose to feel the immensity of your opportunity with eager enthusiasm.

There is much you have to do, and that's great. For within it all is a life that's rich in meaning, fulfillment and joy.

When the magic begins

You're only a moment away from being more positive and effective than you've ever been. You're only a moment away from living life at its highest level.

The only thing holding you back is your choice to keep yourself back. That's a choice you can change right now.

You've gone long enough evading and avoiding your best possibilities. Now it's time to accept that you're absolutely worthy of the rich, fulfilling life you truly desire.

That life can begin to be yours right now. That life can start the moment you decide to stop hiding from the unique beauty of who you truly are.

Yes, it will take effort, determination, faith, commitment and discipline. And every moment of it will be infused with the irreplaceable joy of knowing you're being true to your own highest destiny.

Go ahead, from where you are, with what you have, and choose to be an active participant in the unfolding of your best possibilities. This is your life, this is your day, and this is when the magic begins.

You can handle it

Sometimes a breakthrough comes on its own. Most times, though, you experience a breakthrough when you have no other choice.

When your back is up against the wall, you're going to find a way to get through that wall. Even if it once seemed solid and impermeable, when you must get through you'll find a way through.

It's good to get out in front of your challenges, and to plan in advance for what you think will happen. Yet even when the unexpected happens, and even when it feels completely overwhelming, you have what it takes to successfully make it through.

When you must, you will. Keeping that in mind will give you the confidence to step positively forward every day, in matters both large and small.

Though it's smart to carefully plan, it is truly a waste of time to worry. For even if the worst does come to pass, you have what it takes to make the very best of it.

Take a rich, deep breath of fresh air, and feel your confidence grow. Jump joyfully and enthusiastically into life, knowing you can handle whatever may come.

Positive perspective

The moment you begin to take positive action, your whole perspective quickly changes. Instead of being worried, angry, resentful, or discouraged, you become focused on creating positive value.

That's a very good place to be. And you can be there sooner than you might think.

Momentum is a powerful thing. You can get the positive momentum started with the smallest little effective action.

Take action, and once you feel the slightest tinge of encouragement from that small initial action, take more action. Allow the positive momentum to build to the point where you become virtually unstoppable.

In any moment, the choice is clear and the choice is yours to make. Do you sit around worrying, complaining and fearing, or do you stand up, step forward and do something about it?

Take action, and not only will you take positive control of your life. Take action, and you'll be empowered by a fresh, new positive perspective.

How you see yourself

The more time you spend feeling sorry for yourself, the more things you'll have to be sorry about. If you insist on seeing yourself as a victim, you'll end up experiencing your life as a victim.

It doesn't have to be that way. Because you can choose right now, and every day, to see yourself in a positive, empowering light.

The way you see yourself is up to you. It doesn't have anything to do with the circumstances you happen to be facing.

See yourself as the unique, beautiful, creative and effective person you know you are. See yourself as a bundle of positive, inspiring and meaningful possibilities that are well on their way to being fulfilled.

See that you are able to successfully handle whatever life sends your way. See that you are able to thrive and grow and make positive meaning out of the world in which you live.

See yourself as constantly moving forward through it all, with love and joy and purpose. And what you see, you will be.

What you do, do with joy

If you're going to be doing something, do it with joy. Even if it's not normally a joyful activity, you can add your own unique joy to it.

You can always choose to be positive and enthusiastic about life. No person, circumstance, or sequence of events can keep you down.

If you constantly fight against what you're doing, you'll make yourself miserable and you'll destroy your effectiveness. That's certainly not an outcome you would willingly choose.

So choose instead to put your own unique joy into whatever you're doing. Make the experience a positive one just because you can.

Yes, there are plenty of problems and tragedies and no, life is not always pleasant. That's precisely why it's so powerful and important for you to add as much joy as possible to life.

In every activity and in every tiny corner of your world, put a little extra joy. You'll quickly find it makes a big, big difference.

The problems

If there's a problem holding you back, take steps to solve it. If it's not in your power to solve it, figure out a way to transcend it.

If you cannot transcend the problem, make the choice to accept it and live with it. Then get busy filling your world with so much joy and richness that whatever the problem is, it won't really matter.

Problems are nothing to be afraid of. In fact, they can lead you to great and valuable opportunities.

Problems are not reasons to postpone your life. In fact, those people who encounter the most problems are the people who are living most fully and richly.

Pay attention to the problems and find ways to turn their energy in a positive direction. By all means, don't hide from life just because you're afraid of coming across a few problems.

Let the problems come, and let the problems go. Whatever the problems may be, engage yourself purposefully and enthusiastically with the best life has to offer.

An exquisite life

This can be the most beautiful, fulfilling day you've ever known. For that to happen, you have to allow it.

You have to let go of your obsession with struggling and striving for more, and enjoy the beauty of what already is here. You have to stop thinking that some new richness will fulfill you, and fully experience the richness that is already yours.

Instead of fighting your way through each moment, open yourself to the possibilities for joy. Instead of focusing so intently on what you need, dive deeply into the value of all you have.

There is a unique and exquisite life that is already yours. All you have to do, is thankfully and gracefully let it unfold.

Whatever your situation, whatever your circumstances, there is immeasurable value to be experienced in the authentic living of your life. In the beautiful truth of who you are, there are endless possibilities for magnificent fulfillment.

Let the full truth of your life unfold. And let this truly be the best day ever.

Growing forward

Growth is almost always uncomfortable in some way. Refusing to grow, however, is in the long run much more uncomfortable.

So the choice is between the present-moment discomfort of growth and the future pain of stagnation. The most positive choice is choosing to grow.

It is natural to want to focus on your strengths and pretend like your weaknesses don't exist. To grow, however, requires that you admit where you're weak and then work to strengthen those aspects of your life and your work.

Growth feels difficult and yet it also feels good. It is truly satisfying to know that you're moving forward in accordance with your own desire to do so.

This day and this situation offer valuable opportunities for you to grow stronger, more effective, and more positively directed toward real fulfillment. Choose to embrace and engage those opportunities now while you have them, even though they may be a little uncomfortable.

In this unique and pivotal moment, keep yourself growing forward. And as you grow, the positive possibilities will grow ever more magnificent in your world.

Stay determined

Even while life throws you frustration and disappointment, you can quietly and steadily achieve. Even when you cannot make a lot of progress, you can make a little progress.

That small progress adds up, day after day. Soon it becomes much more valuable than anything you could accomplish in a single effort.

Sure, some things can be accomplished in a burst of determined effort. However, the most valuable achievements take time, with one small, yet effective action after another.

Determination is a powerful force that can compel you in an intimately meaningful way to take action. And determination becomes much more powerful when you're able to spread it over long periods of time.

The longer you can maintain your determination, the higher the level of achievement you'll be able to reach. It's great to be determined, and even more powerful when you can stay determined.

Keep your determination alive and growing by reminding yourself again and again of why it's important to you. Keep your actions coming by continuing to fuel them with the power of positive determination.

Meet with resistance

It is the resistance of the air that enables an airplane to fly. It is the resistance of the mountain path that provides a foothold upon which to climb.

The resistance you encounter is not there to stop you. On the contrary, that resistance gives you something solid and palpable through which to move.

The faster you go, the more resistance you'll encounter. So it is by learning to allow and to effectively handle the resistance that you make great progress.

There is nothing unfair about having to put forth effort in order to make your way forward. It is that very effort that enables you to go in the direction you wish to go.

Expect to encounter resistance, and welcome it each time you do. It is a confirmation of the strength you already have, as well as an opportunity to grow even stronger.

Go ahead and plan in advance to meet with resistance, so when the meeting happens it can proceed on your own terms. It is by encountering resistance that you arrive at success.

Rich in this moment

Do you really want to be rich? Then be rich in this moment, right now, where you are, with all that you have.

Let go of the need to control, the need to judge, and the need to possess, and feel the immense beauty of simply, authentically being you. Every richness you could ever truly care about is here for you to allow.

It's great to have ambitious plans and meaningful intentions for the future. Remember that the way you'll achieve those intentions is by lovingly harvesting the immense richness of right now.

You don't have to fight for or wait for or hope for some future circumstance to make you rich. The experience of richness comes when you fully accept and celebrate in this moment that you have more than enough.

In the richness that is yours now, all you could ever desire is well within your reach. Feel the richness as it erases all doubt and gives you the confidence to reach even higher, free of need, filled with love.

All of life's richness will come to you in some moment or another. Be rich in this moment, and let the richness continue to grow.

All is not lost

It may very well feel like you've been knocked off track. But perhaps, instead, you have found a better way.

It may seem like a setback. But perhaps it is instead an opportunity for you to fashion a more effective approach.

You may feel like you've wasted an enormous amount of time on something that didn't work out. Yet in that time you've created much value that somehow, in some way, you can still put to good use.

It's not any fun when things don't turn out the way you planned. Yet many times, it may actually be for the best.

Step back from your disappointment and re-connect with your passion. Know that there is a positive and effective way forward.

All is not lost, because you still have the ability and the desire to make things right. Grab your fresh new opportunity to move forward, and run with it.

Feel your strength

Remind yourself how strong you can be. And then put that strength to good and meaningful use.

When you're tempted to think that circumstances have made you their victim, stop and reframe that thought. See the reality that those circumstances have given you immense opportunity.

Instead of feeling sorry for yourself, feel thankful for the purposeful strength that is yours. Instead of running or hiding from the difficult challenges, let those challenges bring your strength to life.

Feel your strength in action as you confidently step forward and do what must be done. Feel the effectiveness of your strength as your efforts bring results.

Feel your strength as it becomes more present and apparent with each action you take. Feel that strength grow even stronger as you infuse it with positive purpose.

See each effort not just as an effort, but as a reminder of what a difference you can make. Feel your strength and feel the joy of using it to move life forward.

Where your attention goes

Where your attention goes is where your life will follow. Where is your attention going most of the time?

Is your attention consumed with resentment, judgment, envy and spite? Where do you think those things will lead your life?

Do you put so much attention on proving you're right that you end up with nothing left with which to accomplish? Imagine letting most of that go, and freeing your attention for more positive and valuable pursuits.

There are so many beautiful possibilities for authentic and lasting fulfillment. Those are the things that deserve the power of your attention.

You can decide in this moment, and in every moment, to let go of the fear, let go of the worry, let go of the anger and let in life's delightful richness. Turn your attention toward those things that make life a joy to live.

You can choose where your attention goes, and where your life in turn will follow. No matter what you may have chosen in the past, right now is when you can choose the best.

Feel the possibilities

Feel the energy of life as it fills your awareness. Feel the ever-expanding universe of possibilities that stretches out in every direction.

Feel the possibilities, for they are your possibilities. Because you do feel them, you are in the amazingly fortunate position of being able to bring them to life.

Choose to focus on an objective, and you will indeed focus the unique power of your awareness on that objective. Decide to take action, and just as soon as the decision is made you can be taking action.

You can perceive, you can evaluate, you can prioritize, you can plan and strategize and get the results you intend. And now is when you can make full use of your powerful capabilities.

Feel your purpose, feel your vision, and act on the possibilities that will share the goodness of that unique vision with all of life. Understand that every single moment is a spectacular opportunity.

What is most meaningfully possible for you is ready for you to make it real. Feel the beautiful, life-enriching possibilities as they come to life through you.
